Gullivers Hotel - B&B  

Very clean quiet hotel in a very good location. The room was a little on the smallside and would have preferd a bigger bathroom. Howevwer would definatley book again.

Just size of room and bathroom being a little too small but would not put me off booking again.

Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast and the fact I was able to smoke in my room was a big bonus. Comfortable bed and reasonable shower room.

Tired looking room with some lights not working. Tea/coffee facilities had to be requested to be augmented as there was not enough milk/coffee/sugar. The heating was very bad and I had to request on a daily basis for there to be heat in the room/shower room. As for the next question, recommend with reservations....

It was located next to many restaurants and bars 2 minuites away from the main town, people were friendly, place was nice and clean, overall it was a pleasant stay

There were a few things I noticed like the carpet not being joint together properly and a mark on the wall 2 tiny things that could be changed easily, this didn't bother me, I just notice these things.

The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.

The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. I stood on a pin that was sticking out of the carpet. I think it was overpriced for the size of the room.

The breakfast was lovely, and the location is very convenient.

Very noisy - we were told our room was soundproofed but there was no way this was true. There are lots of banging doors and creaking floor boards. Also we were on the ground floor and the road is quite busy and the windows aren't double glazed. The building is a lovely old house but the interiors are cheap and distasteful. The twin beds are teeny teeny tiny with these miniature duvets that don't cover you if you sleep on your side! One of the male staff was extremely curt and very unhelpful, he snapped at my mother at one stage when she asked him simple directions.

The staff do have bit of an attitude problem I should say, feel as if everything they are supposed to do is a favour.

The room was well presented and the view from the window was good. Breakfast was an excellent meal.

The towel in the room was a little small, and I couldn't access one of the showers which needed a key, although I tried the key it didn't work. The person showing me my room could have shown me how to unlock the shower.

Hotel very shabby rooms small ....en suite tiny with cracked tiles and mould round shower tray ..... window frames rotting and could do with double glazing due to the noise from the street...carpets need replacing and broken bannisters....would definately not recommend this hotel !!!

The rooms and ensuite were well decorated, clean, tidy and the beds very comfortable, and the staff were excellent. I cannot praise the breakfast service highly enough, the range was brilliant and the vegetarian full english was lovely and hot, with very nice veggie sausages.

Location was ideal for the town and sea front. Breakfast was very nice.

Room was small and there was no staff on reception. Parking was difficult.

Proximity to beach and shops/bars/restaurants etc. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel is clean and pleasant and staff friendly and helpful. 24 hr parking permit for £5.50 is good value but you have to drive around the zone a bit to find a space.

Personally, the only downside was that small single room wasn't en-suite although the shower/loo were just down the corridor for your room only.
