Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Peaceful. Woodlandwalk was lovely. Bar was good for a quick meal and a drink. We all had a lovely peaceful relaxing time. Heating was much appreciated as we had lots of rain.

The pine lodge is in need of a makeover lots of things wrong inc hand rail outside very wobbly and unsafe drawers broken in bedroom hardly any kitchen equipment loose plug fitting, Verranda covered in old cobwebs beds and carpets old and worn. Pine lodge looks like no maintence since we came there 15 years ago with a bit of money spent on them they would be beautiful. No wifi in pine lodge.

It was close to where we wanted to be Staff were pleasent

Damp musty smell soon as you walk in. Not cleaned, dirty; skirting boards/floors, shower curtain, shower, radiators.... Hole in the decking outside with a strategically placed chair over it. TV making strange noises No towels until we rang for them. Children's play area fenced off, whole place needs a revamp. No shop on site

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and welcome pack was thoughtfully supplied with a nice new tea towel included. Staff were friendly and helpful. Indoor pool was lovely.

We had unseasonably cold weather for August and really needed blankets and a bit of heating in the bedrooms but neither were available. Spent a very cold and sleepless night.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful Excellent Leisure facilities including free tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, free table tennis

Accomodation needs refurbishing. Television did not work. Could be a wonderful place with modest investment.

We had a few problems such as broken oven, bedtime 'accident' etc and the staff dealt with these promptly and were friendly. The kids (2 and 5) loved the monkey mansion and played there everyday.

Beds were very squeaky, not good when you are trying to creep out of the kids bed!

Location excellent and well signposted . Villa was excellent ,clean with laundered towels and bedding provided in the price paid . Welcome pack supplied was a pleasant surprise.

The absence of a small shop on the site selling milk and bread etc would have been handy. Larger areas required for car parking near the Villas, especially at busy times .

Nice and quiet Not a bad location Great to take kids if you want to help them avoid getting into trouble, they can see first hand what a detention center is like The salt all over the dinning table, meant I could have a free wish

The toilet roll in the microwave from the last inmates, to mop the beans up Must I go on and re live the nightmare.........

Very nice pool and leisure facilities. Not to large of a site to get from A to B. Well equipped accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lacked some essentials like towels. The rooms got very hot at night despite having all the windows open. Balcony was not worth using.

Large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Great on site facilities.

Don't provide towels although they did give us some on asking. Marks on white paintwork and furniture makes it look a little tired.

Our lodge was in a pretty setting. It is also well equipped for a family holiday. It also felt secure with visible security staff wandering around. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating and helpful when we asked for local info.

It is filthy. Not just a bit grubby, but filthy. The shower curtain had years of mildew through it, the windows were so dirty you could barely see through them. Cobwebs and mould, badly stained carpet, and we felt that we needed to wash cutlery & crockery before we could use it. The bathroom floor was disgraceful. These lodges need a desperate deep clean.

It was pretty location and easy to reach from Cowes.

Pool was closed. The only play area was condemned and sealed off. Rubish skips over flowing. Smoke detector without batteries. Accommodation dirty. I could go on.

Spacious apartments, good seating area inside and out. Good value for money with access to leisure facilities including swimming pools and sauna.

If you expect spotlessly clean accommodation you will be disappointed, the apartment was generally clean but windows very dirty, general dirt and dust in corners and evidence of previous occupants. We expected basics like toilet rolls in bathrooms but this was not the case. The bar could not cope with the number of people on site (and this was out of season) so were unable to provide food in the evenings as advertised. The advertised activities that could be booked were all during week days and not weekends. Steps into lodges unstable and not great if you have walking disabilities

    The outdoor swimming pool

They only have the outdoor pool open from 12pm till 5pm the temp of weather was 29 scorching lots of very disappointed children getting told to get out the pool, the rustic lodge which I stayed was big enough 3 bedrooms but in serious need of a complete deep clean a d few maintenance jobs done, very understaffed,a waiting time of an hour of food there was only 6 people eating and myself family of 5 God knows how they will cope if it is busy, food was poor also never ate again local Chinese delivers which was great, a shame really this place if managed and maintained properly would be brilliant

Excellent location for what we wanted. Excellent value for money for three friends as an alternative to b&b's/hotels.

Décor a bit tired but nothing to put me off booking again.

We were only there for one night and on the island for RTI 2014 so we didn;t get to use any of the facilities but the cabin was well equiped and very clean & the site looked like it could be a lot of fun in peak season with a family in tow

The shower was in need of some attention as it was coming away from the wall fixings

Rustic Lodge - Used as a crew house for Round the Island Race. Spacious, clean and verandah had nice outlook over grass area with rural feel - cows lowing close by etc. Quiet, well priced and did the job.

Note - they only supply one loo roll even for 2 loos... our fault - should have grabbed another one from somewhere when we noticed.

The cost of the place for three people was much better value than if we had stayed at a B&B or Hotel. Also better as we had the advantage of self-catering and lounge area in the evening.
