The room was comfortable and value for money. It had a courtesy coach to Gatwick airport which was useful for an early flight Service in the restaurant in the evening was slow and there was very little choice of dessert

Stayed on the returned trip of our holiday. Pick up from airport to hotel was quick. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast finished at 8.30am. (Could be 10.00am?). Check out by 10.00 am (could be 11.00/12.00). Room 7 suffered from noisy people again?

It was close to Gatwick airport and the breakfast was actually pretty good. Everything was very old, lugging suitcases up and down narrow staircases was not fun. The only reason we stayed here was because we were leaving London the next morning from Gatwick!

This hotel or hostel is ideal for one night's sleep after or before flying in or out of Gatwick. The best part is the airport transfer van which picks up and drops off at the airport/ trainstation at Gatwick every half hour during the day. Very reliable, helpful service at a great price. There is a kettle for making coffee or tea with milk provided in the room. No eating in the room, but tables, chairs, a small bar are open downstairs for meals at any time. Continental breakfast, cereal, toast, jam is adequate. Adding cheese would be appreciated.

A very powerful shower (but problems with drainage), and very warm on a chilly night. We chose this hotel because it was in the right location for Gatwick, and seemed to be value for money. However, we had to pay extra to park; the staff we met were quite off-hand; the room faced the a23 and did not have double glazing, so there was a lot of traffic noise; the electrical sockets were literally hanging out of the wall, very dangerous; the shower tray failed to drain properly and threatened to flood; people were coming and going from the early hours so we didn't actually get the sleep we'd planned. So we will not stay there again and will choose to pay more and get better value - our mistake.

Nothing - stay near Gatwick prior to flights several times a year. This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Will never use again and Booking.com should not offer it. Breakfast was reasonable but not worth the list price of 7.50. Everything except the location which was convenient - however the airport connection were terrible, minibus falling apart, schedule not kept to, attempted to charge a fellow customer who had booked for free transfers. Used restaurant as we didn't have transport to go elsewhere, food was terrible, menu very limited - indian staff running it, so I thought a curry would be safe - tasteless. Room cramped, no soap for shower, no air conditioning, noticed in the morning that he sheets were not clean and had stains.

I only stopped over at night and at that price it was great value for money. The staff were great and the room had tea/coffee facilities and clean towels with soap in the shower. The bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world but just for one night it was fine.

Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Location to Gatwick airport. Mini bus to Gatwick. Breakfast. Clean. Value for money. Breakfast finished at 8.30am. Check out by 10.00. Far too early for a Sunday afternoon flight departure. Occasionally noisy due to other guests. Would recommend to others provided that they had early flights.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise after reading the previous negative reviews, all that were available. Buckingham Palace it is not, but you get what you pay for, and more. This is as good a budget hotel as I have stayed at, with friendly and helpful staff, a good included breakfast, and a free transfer to the airport. There was even a telephone in my room. The hotel is conveniently located between Horley town and where I returned my rental Car -both within walking distance. A nice features was the large aquarium along the dining room. The only thing missing was a soap dish in the shower, but having brought this to the attention of the Manager I´m sure one will be prvided by the time of my next stay here.

It is a budget accommodation and you do receive what you pay for. Very convenient as it is located close to the airport. Also, a little village (Horley) where it is located is very nice too. We had to wait for hotel shuttle pick up for about 40 minutes although we were told it will occur in 15-20 min. Upon our arrival in the hotel (wet and tired), we asked to be able to come down and make a payment in the next 30 minutes instead right now but that was refused which was seen as a very poor customer service.

The price. The early morning taxi service back to the airport was good. I was not impressed by the 45 minute wait we had to endure at Gatwick for the hotel's green minicab to take us to the hotel. Cheap but not very cheerful!

For a one night stopover before going to the airport, it was fine and served the purpose. No extra charge for breakfast. The evening curry meal was a little expensive for the quantity of food. It was a little noisy at night from traffic nearby.

Great price, great value. Clean sheets, OK shower, free Wifi. Alarm went off in unoccupied next door to mine at 4.30am, was so loud I thought it was the fire alarm and went outside. Discovered my error and turned off the alarm, must've woken the whole corridor up though.

My brother stayed at Gatwick White House Hotel on 13 January 2012 before travelling to Canada the next day as it was closest to the airport. I choose it for him as a leaving present, as I felt it would be of reasonable standard being a 3 star hotel and would be a convienient to get to Gatwick airport. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. I had trouble explaining to the staff that i would be paying for the booking with my card beforehand and not my brother and spoke to several members of staff before the message got through. The staff had agreed that the shuttle to the airport would be included in the price i had paid (£33.00) for 1 night as courtesy because of the trouble i had with the booking. When my brother got there they asked him to pay for the shuttle service. They agreed to wake him the next the day with a wake up call and this call was very late. Unfortunately as he had to ask for this favour as he did not have an alarm clock to hand. He had to rush out and did not partake in the breakfast. His feedback was that the room was dirty and the bathroom filthy and the staff not cooperative. My brother would not recommend this hotel to anyone and has specifically asked never to book him there again. Sorry for the poor feedback. I feel sorry that my brother was so uncomfortable at the hotel and feel disappointed that my present to him was such a let down.
