The fact that I had booked from 1st to 6th September but the staff only had bookings to 5th - so we had to leave. Also - the original room booked by the hotel was tiny - and I mean TINY. ~We stated that the room was unsuitable and were given a much superior room.
the staff were lovely and very helpful
the place was in bad need of refurbishment, our bathromm was so old bath was all stained same as toilet and no shower walls and tiles were cracked and the view from our room was disgusting, entertainment was rather dismal although Michael the compere was brill
Staff to fit all your needs and good entertainment and 24hr bar. Good sea view rooms.
Our first room was loud and noisy with the construction workers next door, some rooms a little cramped but not at all discomforting.
The entertainment/ bingo was good
The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful, the food was disgusting and made my stomach bad for the whole week. We were a large group of 12 friends/family. Mixed ages from 5-50. We were the youngest group in the hotel. Everyone were at least 70 years of age. The hotel doesn't cater for young people and we felt out of place. Half of the showers in our rooms didn't work. When we went to the staff for help, it felt as if we were a burden with the way that they dealt with us. This was our second stay at this hotel and We will never stay there again.
Friendly and helpful staff
Came to use the shower on the morning of departure but didn't work. Didn't complain. This isn't a complaint now as I was only there for 1 night
Evening meal should be classed as late afternoon meal very disappointed thought we was getting evening meal followed by entertainment this not the case. Tea is at 5.30 and entertainment is at 9 pm.
The hotel is in a nice area of Blackpool with the trams available just outside the door. The room are clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable.
While most of the business if for coach parties maybe a little more care for lone or small groups is needed.
Nothing.We left early,after 3 days.
food excellent entertainment first 2 nights guest singers fantastic were wasted doing hotel rounds hope they achieve greater things staff very pleasant
our room very small hot & stuffy but as we were only staying 3 nights we did not complain
The entertainment, the drag artist was terrible. As was the tea and coffee in the dining room. The hotel was very noisy with buzzing noises and creaks. I would have liked a shower, the bathroom was in need of renovation. I wouldn't have liked to spend more than a couple of nights in that room.
Found hotel easy to find , pleasant staff and very helpful. Food good and good service. Caberet good saturday along withbingo. Sunday bingo but not a lot in and no caberet, so the bingo man did some songs and some jokes. Bar staff great. Will be going again but in a sea view room. Next time.
Bedroom on small size and being at the back all you could see was all the steel air tubes and probably air conditioning from kitchen.
Very good location with comfy beds
It smelt like old folks home , very off putting .one guy doing everything was a shame
clean/good value for money.
loud music from the bar until 1:00am at night can be heard 2 floors up in the rooms. the music should stop by 11:pm to be more courteous to people who want to sleep. the 'drag act' is rubbish.
There was evening entertainment
Lovely clean room comfortable bed lovely sea view
Entertainment finished to early only on for fourty mins should of been on longer
Size of rooms - they used to be bigger under the other management
24 Hour bar Cheap
A few of the rooms smelt of sick!
nothing and will not be returning.
the staff were unhelpful and no customer service at all. Rooms were very dated and small. Woke by noisy guests at 3am and fire alarm at 8am. Breakfast limited, room very untidy, with tables not cleared and food area not cleaned. In the hotel is a function room and bar. They had a disco and party on which did not finish until 1am and this we could hear in our room on level 3.
staff all very helpful best value breakfast ever
The hotel very good.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, good entertainment and excellent value for money
Cheap and cheerfull
small room, but ok for 1 nite.
Accommodating and friendly staff.
The food particularly at Breakfast is sub standard.
Staff very friendly. Great value for money. Food good. Limited parking, but plenty of local street parking. Location good, about 25 mins walk to the Tower. Rooms basic, but cannot complain about the great value for money.
Got a bit hot in the room, as not able to fully turn off the radiator. Only a minor point, which did not spoil an otherwise very enjoyable 2 nights.
