The breakfast was standard but the cooked food was to perfection was ready in 5mins and looked and tasted great, the staff at breakfast were lovely as well
The room we stayed in was dated, very clean but just needs some tlc and a lick of paint
Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly
Shower wasn't as clean and the noise from guess from next-door where noisy so we didn't get much sleep
staff efficiency and attitude cleanliness of room and general areas location
size of bathroom quality of fittings car parking minimum
Bathroom dirty room grubby
For a two star hotel I was impressed with the size of the room, the price, breakfast and the facilities
Staff excellent, breakfast first class ,room lovely and clean, We was there for our anniversary and was given a lovely card from Danny he is so helpful.Looking forward to next stay at Hadleigh Gables.
Full of noisy foreigners ,talking too loud ,restricting sleep
The hotel was close to seafront & local shops. Staff were friendly & there is parking out front for a few cars.
The floor boards creaked badly & bed was uncomfortable. Shower was hot, but small. Sink was out in the room & toiletries very basic. A noisy lift directly outside room not helpful when trying to sleep. The room price needs to be £30 at the most really. I found an far superior hotel 1 mile away for less than the £48 I paid for this hotel
we had a problem with room we were allocated and when approached staff, especially guy on duty at time-Daniel dealt with problem very quickly and proffesionally, even gave us a free upgrade for the inconvenience of problem. Breakfast was Brilliant-can't fault it!
The weather-it rained and rained all night!
not being able to order dinner for the evening we checked in...we were told that all the orders had been taken and it was not possible for us to eat in the restaurant...
helpful staff, location and easy access to sea front and town.
creaking floor boards in room when and where ever you went.
Had a lift.
That I was duped into thinking I had saved £300 on the booking. When I got there. There was no way it was worth £400 for a weekend. I would class as a b&b not as a hotel. The restaurant closed at 6pm. We was stuck in a run down room. Was told to use the single bed for our 4 month old baby. Managed to fit our travel cot with moving furniture around. Car park is very limited and tight fit.
Comfortable bed. Everything in the room we needed. If Lovely breakfast, friendly helpful waitresses st breakfast service. Couldn't really find much wrong with the place, I had read negative reviews regarding how the place was "run down ", and old fashioned, well I just regarded the decor as having period charm. I thought the dining room was furnished as good as any four star places I'd stayed in.
The only thing that I found inconvenient was that our room was right opposite the lift, and the lift announcement was a little too loud, didn't really notice door opening sounds, but would have got fed up with the "doors closing" had hotel been busier, but it only woke me once. I couldn't find a hair dryer anywhere.
Good Quality hotel at a very good price.Excellent value for money.Polite staff, clean fresh room and good quality breakfast.
On arrival was made to feel welcome, room was very spacious, clean and well kept. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff ,breakfast a good choice of food and a fast service. We are looking forward to our next visit would highly recommend
Everyone was so friendly, there is a lift and a side door made it easier with the pram, the room was clean they had accomadated to our needs having a baby and also allowed me to use their fridge which I could access when needed for my daughters milk
The room was good breakfast was lovely.
No food available in the evening just breakfast
Comfortable beds, good staff, breakfast good, a lot too choice from.Very clean. Will visit this Hotel again.
Staff was friendly enough , breakfast was decent , cheap holtel so what you see is what you get
Room leaked making bed wet , then being down graded to smaller rooms , beds was really uncomfy as we tried 4 different rooms cause of the beds being uncomfy ,found room with half decent bed but the room was poor quality and cold , fair alarm going off in middle of night , parking is poor due to staff wanting your keys if your car is in the way ? So they can move it ? , rooms wasn't cleaned ,
Fire alarm went off and had to evacuate in middle of the night but still had to be out by 10am even after lack of sleep
Great location and clean rooms. Staff very helpful, chef came in 1 hourly especially to cook an early breakfast for me. Great breakfast selection.
Noisy fan in toilet and noisy centrally located lift.
No snacks available as stated
