Situated in northwest Cambridge, opposite Cambridge University’s Girton College, Hadleigh is a family-run guest house set amongst an acre of well-kept gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking. Guest’s will have the choice between a one-bedroom duplex apartment and a suite. Both are contemporary in design and feature a mix of wooden furniture and leather seating. The apartment consists of a lounge/dining area and a modern kitchen. Guests can enjoy a varied breakfast in Hadleigh’s communal dining room, which overlooks the gardens. The choices available include a full English, vegetarian or continental breakfast. Smoked mackerel, smoked salmon and a toasted muffin with eggs and bacon are also offered. The guest house sits approximately 2 miles from the city centre and the start of both the M11 and the A14 are less than a mile and a half away. Cambridge Rail Station is just over 3 miles from the property and the picturesque banks of the River Cam are less than 2 miles away. The room and bathroom are newly refurbushed. Hadleigh is a lovely, spacious house with a fascinating history and a huge garden. The landlady is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent.
