Country location Old English pub charm Friendly staff team Superb food Overall, a very good room Staff very quick at providing more tea bags and milk in a flask for room Cleanliness
1. Mattress could have been deeper and softer 2. Friends in party thought their rooms were noisy due to kitchen (?) extractor fan and external corridor noise as people went in and out rear entrance
The room was spacious, well-equipped and generously supplied. The bathroom was excellent. The environment was quiet and restful. The food was very good.
The wifi was really slow at times and slow most of the time.
We arrived a weekend too early.(an Age thing) Hadley full up for that night. Donna did all she could to find us accommodation for the night. Successful. on arrival found we had forgotten medication. Off back to Dorset. Back to Hadley the following W/End. Wi Fi not too good and genuinely for a relaxing W/End look up The Hadley Green.
Facilities,location,pleasant staff,good food in restaurant,easy parking.
Breakfast OK but not up to standard of the restaurant.
Excellent place to stay great food and friendly staff
Room was lovely and comfortable lots of space. Quiet village location
I think our room was above the kitchen and the fan noise was a little noticeable whilst it was on, it was not enough to keep us awake though.
Welcome was first class as were the rooms and food.
A very convenient location for our purpose of meeting friends who live locally. We all enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant.
Not being able to stay longer
Communal areas inside and outside very nice & high quality, bar & restaurant & food were lovely. Cafetiere in bedroom was a nice touch. & bathroom lovely too ,
Nothing! Only slight problem was the mattress which felt a little lumpy.
The room very spacious and well decorated, The bed was so comfortable, Bathroom was a great size and very clean, The bar area was excellent, Very good breakfast, Staff were very helpful and friendly Highly recommend this hotel
Room windows were a bit tatty but I'm being picky
Great Staff team, always going the extra mile to provide any extras required. Duck breast and berry jus was perfect. A really enjoying and relaxing break.
Room was beautiful, really spacious, clean and plenty of lovely towels.staff were so polite and helpful.no excess noise despite having live music downstairs one evening.fantastic breakfast choice.would definately return.
Great location, food and accommodation
Extractor fan from kitchen outside bedroom window, was noisy.
Service and food in the restaurant were excellent. Highly recommended.
Firstly, our room was very dusty which aggravated my asthma. This was compounded by the fact that the window was directly above the extractor for the kitchen. The noise and pervasive cooking oudor were a constant irritation. I felt we were quite unlucky on both counts as the rest of the venue was very pleasent.
Size of room and bathroom, setting of pub
Noise from rooms above and front door banging, and considering they have an award for their breakfast, i thought the full english was poorly presented and the bacon was very salty
Awful microwaved food, lots of which wasn't even cooked properly, with wonderful sounding Jack Daniel's chicken wings that were as soggy as used chip paper, triple cooked chips that were raw in the middle, and crème brulee which was warm on the outside, and stone cold in the middle! Wifi didn't work but was told "that is because it's an old building and it won't work everywhere", and asked for quiet room yet we were put overlooking the outside plastic tents that people were drinking in all night long.
Good sized room
My room was right above the boiler room (room 5) which was very noisy and ran through the night, keeping me awake. There is also a strong smell in the bathroom from the oil boiler. The WiFi is rubbish.
Not far to travel from home. Lots of places to visit nearby and lots of walks close by. Lovely location. Food and service was excellent. Extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely go there again.
Stayed in separate room at rear of Inn but would perhaps have been nicer in main building especially as it rained heavily on Sunday so had to cross courtyard in rain. Not too much of a hardship but would have been better in main building - will try to book earlier next time. No Wi-Fi currently outside main inn but no problem connecting inside.
Lovely spacious room. The food is delicious. The ambiance cosy.
That we did not stay longer
Everything about this inn was beautiful...clean, friendly, beautiful room with everything you need ! Only one disappointment and that was our evening meal :(
Our evening meal was disappointing ! Steak and mushroom pie off the Specials board accounted to no more than a pukka pie with some mash and peas ...not one for complaining, but this was not good !
Decor and size of bedroom. Quiet village location. Good restaurant with well trained staff. Very good price.
Lack of mattress protector. Stiff loo flush otherwise perfect.
Location, room, staff, food all great
