I sincerely enjoyed my brief stay at this hotel. I chose it as a friend lived nearby but did not expect such a nice room and friendly staff. I was surprised and impressed. The location is unfortunate but this 'farm house' was here before the businesses popped up. The decor was well thought through and impresive. I highly receoomed anyone to stay here if you want to stay inside for a nice (albeit a little expensive) meal and comfortable nights sleep. Beware of the guard dog..... ;-) Dinner prices were a little high but the quality justified it.

Large very comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom and enjoyed the jacuzzi. Dining room staff very pleasant. No lift. No help offered with luggage. The bottom step into the jacuzzi was a hazard because of the sharp corners. The entrance door, the lobby to the reception and reception desk was off-putting initially - it all looked tired and in need of modernising. Did not like the dog wandering about and thought that would be a reason for visitors not to return.

Owners and their Staff Team deserve an a* -Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant service was excellent and individual dietary requirements were catered for with efficiency & cheerfulness. Room was large and very comfortable. Great location to explore Acton Scott working Farm, Blists Hill and other Ironbridge museums. Carpet had some stains, everything else very clean.

The jacuzzi bath was a nice bit of luxury, bed was huge & very comfortable. It was quiet so we had a good nights sleep. The food we had from room service was exquisite. Telford itself wasnt that exciting but its a good base for other attractions in the area.

Everything. We had an excellent room with a bed to die for! Staff were attentive but not obtrusive. In house dining was well presented and very well cooked. Our 2nd visit, but not our last. Well done Mark/Geraldine & team.

dinner.service hotel given over to functions so very noisy. in spite of asking for quiet room when booking was given a room overlooking conservatory holding a party which didnt end till going up for 1 am.maybe the good old fashioned b&b would be a better option at least they rarely hold weddings

Owners and staff were great, friendly and helpful. Even though there was a small wedding going on in the hotel we were still looked after very well and not forgotten. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had an evening meal at the hotel and the food was really good and we're really fussy! No complaints at all and we would definitely stay there again.

All the basics were fine and the stafff friendly / helpful. Parking is ample and near to the main entrance. Rooms are excellent value for money and both the inclusive breakfast and the a la carte meal the previous evening were of a high standard and well presented with prompt service etc. Only an idiot would not enjoy a stay at this venue The jacuzzi in the room was very good, but possibly the shower pressure could be improved. Though that is not a complaint, just a prompt.

Efficiency of a large chain without the impersonality. Friendliness of a private hotel without the B&B feel.

We were greeted with a warm reception. The room was very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom with big shower. The dining room is lovely and dinner was very good. Breakfast was freshly cooked and nicely presented. There is ample parking space and outdoor area to enjoy a drink outside. It was very good value for money. We were lucky and had a quiet neighbour in the room next door but the wall was not well soundproofed and could cause a problem. It seems a shame when so much has been spent on the annex and the rooms are of such a high standard.

Overall I would say the hotel was pleasant and clean. The shower was just about useless (I stayed in Room 7) very little water pressure and took me ages to get washed. I'm unsure if this was the 'executive' room that I booked as it seemed a little on the small side and didn't appear to be anything special that made it 'executive'. I could see other rooms in a more modern part of the hotel which I would probably describe as the 'executive' rooms.
