evening meal and "dining room"
the room size
the fact that nobody informed us of xmas parties going on below our room until 1 in the morning. We found out ourselves on the night!!!! Then had to leave and find another hotel at 1130pm and don't think the customer service was at all good. The duty manager was only interested in getting money of us. Not good at all and will not be coming back.
Peaceful and plenty of parking
No hot water
It is very obvious in the day a great deal of money has been put onto the hotel and you can see in the public areas some recent renovation has taken place.
Shower not working, constantly running tap, mould in the bathroom, very restricted evening menu, and checkout on the evening prior to departure proved challenging; I am glad I did not leave it until the day am. It is in desperate need of a refit which should be made a priority as you are only further damaging the hotel reputation.
skidmarks in toilet. used tube of showergel, someone had obviously used the room inbetween it being cleaned and us using it. used towel
Staff friendly and welcoming, great food especially breakfast.
Bathroom was grubby, shower hose clearly in need of attention, shower itself had vitually no pressure and went cold. Spoilt the whole visit. Stains on bedroom chair very off putting.
Friendly helpful and professional staff team. Good value food with a range of choice served in the bar. Comfortable bed, peace and quiet. The bathing facilities were spotless and the shower excellent, and made a nice change to have a hairdryer with some guts. Location was perfect for me and I will certainly stay here again.
Decor a little dated and some staining on the furniture.
Lovely room. Very quiet and a good night's sleep!
Booked a twin room but for some reason they moved us to a family room so my 27 yr old daughter had to sleep in a bunk bed. Not what I envisaged. A cold shower. Menu not what we received and very tasteless food in the bar and a dessert which was not what we ordered. Overall really poor and offered no reduction in the room rate.
Staff were good and we enjoyed staying there! We would stay there again!!
This is a super hotel
Clean,spacious rooms. Helpful staff.
Quiet, nice room. Attentive staff. Efficient check in and out
Limited weekday menu (although food was excellent and served quickly) Bathroom a little tired
Quiet, spacious room with two comfy chairs and a comfy bed. It was light and airy with a wide range of TV channels. Wonderful views of open countryside. Continental breakfast was adequate.
The stairs and corridors had not been cleaned since the weekend as there was still evidence of confetti, etc. There was a lot of noise from other residents during one night.
Breakfast Thoughtful staff am
Bloke shaking head when we arrived late despite notification by phone and email
Very pleasant, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable beds and large rooms Lovely grounds and setting
Lack of disable facilities in the twin bedded room bathroom
Green rural location, large bedroom, good TV channel selection
Slightly dated rooms
Quiet location with well-kept gardens, spacious room, helpful staff and a high standard overall. It was obvious that the hotel was concerned with providing a good service.
Location was great as we were visiting friends in hadlow
The bar area was abysmal and not in keeping with a country manor
Was at a wedding and everything seemed to go well. Staff helpful
Poor communication initially was changed room with no explanation or apology.
Everything is great
Wifi took too long to be sorted
Value for money, size and comfort of room, location was convenient for our visit. Would definitely use again, we visit Tonbridge regularly, this is best balance of quality and value for money hotel we have found.
The guttering needed fixing as during the heavy rain overnight the water cascaded onto the slabbed area outside the room.
Room comfortable,staff helpful and friendly
Staff seemed rushed when we dined in the evening. The bar was busy and one of the bar staff had to deal with the dining room as well. I would have been happier if there had been a stay on our downstairs window to restrict the opening. As it was, I did not feel I could leave it open during the night, and it was a hot night
Location suited the venue we used Impressive Looking Hotel Drinks at Bar were ok Room was very nice Bed Comfortable
Staff seemed very scarce and having to be multifunctional. Only tried one bar meal which put us off having breakfast, which we thought was pricey. Bedroom floor Creaked on every step very off putting
