Beds were very comfortable There was a wedding reception the evening of my stay but the hotel were considerate and positioned my room away from the reception which was a good thing as the live entertainment was rather loud.

Found reception to be very rude Rooms are dated Bathrooms need attention

I was attending a Christening party for around 120 guests. The staff where disinterested and acted like they where doing the guests a favour for just being there. The duty manager actually argued back with the host of the party regarding the speed with which the buffet was being served. The hotel is nice but I wouldnt recommened it to anyone.

I liked the tranquil decor, the fact that it was set in landscape, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the excellent breakfast and bar food, the peace and comfort of the bedroom and the very good price deal I got.

Location convenient to Hadlow which was the reason for the stay. Plenty of car parking space.

I believe the bedding is not clean and may have dust mites. I had a pretty severe allergic reaction and apparently another guest had similar problems. Also the mattress needs changing as the springs are pretty well gone.

Everything was excellent, we have stayed there many times before.

Nothing

Our toilet was blocked the whole of our 2 nights stay. We were not given access to the bar we were told it was for a private party. The breakfast only had scrambled eggs both days although the menu suggested otherwise. Apart from the receptionist we were made to feel like old foggies and in the way. We could not get dinner there on either evenings, so it meant driving and not drinking. This was our 3rd stay at the Manor it is a shame but I can't see us going again.

Large rooms with very comfy bed and nice and warm. Free wifi throughout and friendly staff.

Breakfast is extremely expensive at £12 per head so always stay room only and pick up breakfast pastry in the bakery in Hadlow village on departure.

As a backpacker, I found it suited my needs

Cold bathroom floor. Low pressure shower. Water only just hot enough for the shower and nowhere near hot enough to take a bath.

Great hotel but rooms are a little basic

We were at the hotel for a wedding. It was all very friendly and accommodating (let us put a barrel of our real ale in their cellar for use at the reception). They are very well geared up for functions and handled ours and two others simultaneously with great ease. Despite being on a main road the rooms are away from the road at the back of the main building overlooking fields and are extremely quiet (only the cockerell at a nearby farm woke us up!).Food good, service and attentiveness good, nice location and grounds. Well done!

Good location for major towns, seaside routes and lovely and quiet.

The only blip was the hotel alarm going off at 4am and with no staff on site, guests weren't sure whether it was for real, whether it was a test! Minimal apologies from staff and although these things happen, I think it would have been nice to have at least offered the guests who were disturbed a free breakfast or a pot of coffee or something to go towards the interrupted nights sleep.

The Car Park had plenty of space and gave easy access to the Hotel.Gardens and countryside views were lovely. Not quite as near to the M25 as the impression on the internet when we booked but fairly easy to navigate. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room for three adults (Mum, Dad & Son) was not made up ready, with 3 beds, cups, towels etc in the room for when we arrived. Beds were not the most comfortable we have had in a hotel. The divan creaked loudly every time you turned over! Wondered what the noise was the first time it woke me. The full english breakfast was very salty and expensive.

Took a while to get hot water in the morning but other than this minir point no problems.

The room could have been alittle more up to date there was no mini fridge in the room where you could have a drink or nibbles, the water made the tea taste alittle funny and the bed was very hard

Hannah the receptionist looked after us so well. Having booked à twin room, and being offered à double, wé were given à room free!! And with à smile at that!

Good sized rooms overlooking the fields. Good service and good quality bar food. Very nice staff. Good Price. Plenty of parking.
