Location, breakfast, friendly
Friendly. Great food. Jacuzzi Bath is brilliant. Bed is really comfy. Location is perfect. Free WiFi.
It's a very nice b&b, it's a warming house. Clean and neat. The location is excellent
The price was quite expensive, my friend lived in another b&b where is near this house, including breakfast,it was 40 pounds. But this house I paid 45 pounds excluding breakfast. The breakfast was nearly 8 pounds
Everything really. I was staying there for a film festival. I am a film maker who needed to stay in the location for both business and pleasure. The owner is kind and attentive. I requested an earlier breakfast at last minute and she made it for me early. It is very warm in winter, cosy, good breakfast, parking , great central location. It was lovely.
Excellent location - close to lake and train station. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Lovely and peaceful.
Convenient, clean, comfortable, welcoming and an excellent breakfast. My second visit.
close to windermere town.
owner a little bit off hand, went on a bit. as we forgot to telephone we were going to arrive later
Location and breakfast was lovely
Shower and tiny television
A very enjoyable Weekend, really comfortable room,Breakfasts very tasty, the staff were really helpful,I hope to stay there again,in the future.
Spotlessly clean, great location, and very tastey breakfast
Was just a nice 20 minute stroll down to Lake Windermere!
excellent accommodation ,very clean and comfortable. good position for travelling to all the tourist spots and close to town. staff very helpful and cheery.lovely breakfast .
parking , only 3 spaces at the back and in road parking at the front difficult as people working in town tend to park there during the day. there is a public car park near by but not as convenient. had to sit in road and wait for a space.
They go above and beyond they duties
Friendly and homely B and B with a warm welcome and great accommodation. This B and B was quiet and peaceful despite being located just a couple of minutes walk from the town. It was also perfect for the bus route to Bowness and beyond. Parking was not an issue making the stay uncomplicated. A great choice of breakfasts including a full vegetarian and the Haisthorpe vegetarian special. We had a fabulous three nights exploring the area and returning to the sanctuary of Haisthorpe House for sleep and breakfast before the next busy day. All guests were made to feel welcome and at home. A great place to stay.
Very friendly staff, lovely room, central location and fantastic breakfasts.
Can't think of anything.
Great location and very friendly place
Not a lot to dislike but I was working on the breakfast was a little late
The room was clean and all the house was nice and homely.
The staff, on the other hand, didn't make you feel very welcome, as they seemed stressed about the amount of guests they had. No need to take it on the guests, we all have problems. I hope they improve on this.
Walkable location from the centre of town
Friendly staff who were happy for me to get there earlier than normal check in time to leave my bags. The breakfast (especially the vegetarian option of sweet potato and chestnut hash was delicious!). Fantastic location for walking. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area
The b&b was very clean ... Quite close to the shops ..the staff were very nice
My only problem with the b&b was the breakfast ... Not nearly enough 1sausage a spoonful of beans & 8 mushrooms cut very small ... Not really filling for a well built man ...so put extra sausage & mushrooms on the breakfasts then you've cracked it .... Other than that it was lovely .... Would recommend x
Superbly managed property bang in the middle of town with many food options in the main street a five minute walk away. Excellent breakfast for the price.
Why are rooms in English homes so very very tiny?
