Friendly, helpful staff, made us feel welcome, and that they were only to pleased to help with anything. Great Juke Box!
Because the hotel is 'pub-based' I would have liked to have been able to have an evening meal there
i liked the staff and also the breakfast was brill
Tranquil setting , quiet street, easy walking distance to amenities
Friendly and cheap
comfortable room and friendly staff.
Marked down comfort as 1 of the 2 rooms we had was much better than the other. Being above a pub - Where the regulars were mature and quiet! Rather than rowdy people.
Not having booked 2 nights :-(
The Pub and the Beer Garden
Missunderstood what kind of room we booked. Had expected two room with a total of three separat beds.
staff friendly breakfast excellent and a most comfortable stay
had kareoke but felt it was only for the regulars
Poor quality breakfast. Poor state of fixtures repairs needed Dated decore needs major refurb Expensive
Good location for prestatyn and surrounding area .comfortable beds.
Rooms in need of renovation. Not the cleanest.
Room size was good, breakfast good, very clean.
Noisy as room was over the bar
The accommodation was fair and the staff
Very disappointed in the breakfast
Staff very warm and welcoming.
Rooms need modernizing
The only thing that was good was the breakfast. We were in room 8 and it was nothing but dirty. We stayed there with our 2 year old daughter and she nearly electrocuted herself on a plug socket that had a gaping hole above it! The pillows in mine and husbands bed were filthy dirty and yellow, my quilt had an old blood stain. We wore flip flops the whole time we were there. The shower was mouldy and dirty and the whole decor was pretty much the same! If this was a budget hotel I could be more understandinh but for £75 a night I expected at least cleanliness! I really really wouldn't recommend this hotel and was very disappointed. At no point did anyone enquire how our stay was, the key was just taken without a word not even a thanks. Really awful hotel the only positive was that breakfast was nice!!
Dirty room and linen. The room was generally dirty and unpleasant!
Nice staff very good english breakfast
Bathroom cabins were outdated
the staff, breakfast, entertainment, and the hotel itself
breakfast was ok.
hotel and rooms require major redecoration.
After spending a night with my girlfriend in this absolute dirty hovel I was left with quite a good few nasty bites all over my back, which i have since found out that they are from BED BUGS,they appeared the next morning all over my back, would rather sleep in my car than in this dirty stinking excuse for a hotel!!!!!
Great Location a short walk from the station. Very quiet location around the corner from town. Bar downstairs was really good and had a great selection of real ales and served a great breakfast.
Shower was a little basic
pleasant and helpful staff and service, really nice garden area.
the boat hanging from the ceiling in the dining area.saw no reason for this,it did not enhance the area.
nothing that stands out, for the money it was just adequate.
at to book breakfast time, and breakfast starts to late.
The room was lovely and clean and the staff very welcoming, breakfast was delicious, great location for us as we were going to a party, we were able to walk to our destination, enjoying the bars on the way.
I lovely cooked breakfast, as much tea/coffee and toast as you liked. The bed was comfortable.
We arrived late and needed sleep, but they had a Karaoke night and our room was above the bar so the sound traveled, it stopped at midnight, the toilet was not attached to the wall, the shower was tiny and not a lot of water come out of it. the carpets all smelt old and musty in the corridor as well as in the room. Window didn't shut properly.
Comfortable bed,clean accommodation,excellent breakfast meal.
cheap and cheerful
my room was over a noisy pub .
