Friendly helpful staff and everything was great for our stay
Lovely rooms , friendly atmosphere
Bed a little small for is
The hotel has a bit more character than other hotels of a similar price.
Although the rate charged is excellent value for money, it would be nice to have the option of fresh fruit at breakfast.
We have, over the last decade, stayed in most of the city centre hotels, and have had no serious complaints, but the overall atmosphere and comfort of Haley's has put it at the top of our list of where to stay next time we return to Leeds. Our spacious and comfortable room provided character of a unique and individual nature and the food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Could not find fault in any way.
Location Breakfast Internet speed
Return visit and I (foolishly) left my Kindle in my room. Called back later that night and must say a big thank you to Lisa (housekeeping)Andy (night reception) who found it for me when I dropped in to see if it was there. Thank you both!
I booked the hotel a few days before new years eve. There was one available room left and the price was very good. Brillaint room and the staff were lovely and helpfull.
The room was clean and spacious and very well equipped.
The room was a bit cold on arrival, but all the heaters were on and it warmed up.
Great location, right in the heart of where we wanted, but also nice and quiet in the evening, definatly would recommend it to anyone visiting headingly
My partner and I stayed here for New Year's Eve. The room was very comfortable and great value for the price we paid considering it was New Years Eve. The staff were all friendly and we would definitely stay there again.
Location was excellent for visiting our daughters at the university. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and having free, off road parking was a definite bonus. We would definitely book with Haley's Hotel again!
Close proximity to Headingly shops and some super restaurants. Very quiet area which suited us just fine.
My husband found the beds rather hard. I liked them!!
A good hotel and quiet if you want to stay yet outside leeds and taxis are cheap
Extremely comfortable and relaxing, a city hotel with a country hotel atmosphere. No parking issues, and the location was just great, so quiet and peaceful.
Relaxed, very comfortable feeling, 'country house' hotel in quiet corner of Headingly, Leeds. Staff very helpful, efficient and friendly. Good breakfast. Good wifi, no charge! Similarly, no charge for parking in grounds of the hotel, unlike city centre places.
No lifts, if you really need one. Dark road walk back from main road. Slow crawl of traffic into Leeds in the morning.
Everything and wifi was brilliant
Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere
We had a nice room, it was spacious and had a big bathroom.
Brilliant staff Good food A good nights sleep Ample parking
The external area was not tidy
The appearance and decor of the room.
The shower, although new, had a very thin flow. The room got overheated in the morning. no breakfast included.
The best part was the staff and how nice they were. It was convenient to where I was going and very near a main route. At least they had an electric water pot so I could eat instant oatmeal for breakfast. They made certain my ca was there when I needed to go to the train station and they were very kind to allow me to print out my airline boarding pass and Northern Express train ticket.
I would have liked either having a small microwave available or breakfast included. Their cost was far too high for me for breakfast and dinner as I can only eat a small amount at a meal & have to concentrate on protein and greens. I would not have gotten anything close to my money's worth. Several nights whilst there the wifi was not available; very frustrating as this was my only link to my family in the US. This may have been due to storms, however. The mattress was too hard for me and caused my muscles to be very sore. I had to buy a cheap phone in order to call a friend in Wales. I would have been happy to pay the cost, but this option was not allowed. Despite these issues, however I would stay again, especially if they gave me a student rate.
Room, breakfast, location, free parking, lovely old fashioned hotel.
I couldn't log on to the Wi-Fi.
Had an entire appartment loads of room.
Check out 11am.
