Haley's Hotel  

Welcoming with excellent staff...car parking...safe and immaculately clean,,,relaxed and helpful - all at great value!!! I simply don't know what more a hotel can do to be more pleasing!!!

It was cheap, quiet and very convenient for me to attend a conference being held nearby.

No lift. Also there were longstanding roadworks immediately before the hotel, which I understand have been going on for some time. On the first morning after my arrival, the road was blocked by a lorry digging earth which arrived very early that morning and there was then a queue of cars. There was no warning of this event. If I had needed to leave early that morning I would have been seriously delayed. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is an unexpected potential problem. Also getting out of the cul de sac where the hotel is located onto the main road to turn right was quite difficult because of the heavy traffic going into Leeds.

Breakfast could be a bit more imaginative. I would have liked some fresh fruit salad instead of always having tinned fruit. Also the option of a fried egg. But breakfast is very good value for money.

Everything about Haleys is excellent,would always be our first choice in Leeds.

We loved the look of the hotel as we booked in. The staff were friendly and made a fuss of the children. On entering our room we were thrilled with the character feature furniture alongside modern features, such as tall headboard and flatscreen tv. The bathroom was immaculate and very modern, with shower and bath. The two easy chairs were lovely to sink into after a busy day and we came away feeling that we all want to return to Haley's again one day!

Quiet and relaxed

Asked for wake calls for two mornings and did not get one! When I mentioned this to the lady at reception one evening she did not apologize and gave an arrogant response. Selection for those wanting a continental breakfast was very poor - some rolls and meat slices to put on them would have been welcomed. Porridge should also be available given how healthy this is.

Good location close to Headingley Stadium and several good quality cafes

There was`ent anything I did not like

The room was huge, beds comfy and the bathroom clean. The staff brought drinks to the room even though this wasn't a service they offered.

Breakfast was served 7.00-9.00 which we thought finished a little early for a bank holiday weekend.

Words cannot do justice for this quaint and lovely hotel.The location is 15 minutes drive away from leeds city centre, but situted in a quite location . I enjoyed my stay here , and the staff were polite and very helpful. Eating at the bar /restaurant is not too expensive and wifi is available througout the hotel. I will be staying here again .

Breakfast was poor no yoghurt only tin grapefruit refused us a fried egg , no muffins or cake no service all guest milling around a small area to serve themselves.

Handy location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with very good facilities. The quiet location of the hotel. Easy parking. Closeness to other pubs/local restaurants.

The fact we arrived on a Sunday night to a closed bar and dining facility. Luckily we know the area and knew where to get food!

Central location, and we were given a suite. Breakfast was good value for money. Good value for money overall

Spacious room, comfy bed.

No lift. Had to carry suitcase, heavy laptop etc up the stairs. All fire doors on the stairs wedged open with chairs. Bathroom needs updating, the shower was not very powerful and a small mirror for shaving/makeup no good.Needs to be more pride taken in making a bed the valance was nearly off the base. Cooked food for breakfast was all dried up under the heated lamps.

So many things to praise

Old, well crushed hollowfibre pillows dont belong in this otherwise luxury hotel

Very comfortable room, wider single bed than usual. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
