The host was very helpful, met me to show me around. The facilities in this apartment are great - very comfortable, convenient location everything you needed. From tea towels to tea and biscuits- they had even put a few essentials in the fridge !

I stayed at the lodge I was playing at the local golf club it was 8 min away the room had all the facilities you need it was clean very comfortable bed, large TV comfortable living room cannot complain would recommend to anybody

We were only here for a night but needed to go in the town for breakfast. There were plenty of places to eat, a cinema and shops. We liked the facilities and would visit again. McKenzies cafe. they do the best food in the area, breakfast to die for, staff are soooooo nice and polite. They were so helpful in sorting out a "Takeout" for the journey home. Parking (at the time) was free, behind the main street (coming in off the roundabout 50 yards on the right, sharp right). Blackwood is a small town with the main road holding most of the pubs, restaurants and shops, so easy to get around. There is plenty of parking in the town including a Lark car park if you do some shopping in ASDA......Also good for the lowest cost fuel in the area. If you want fast food, there is a KFC, Domino's, MacDonalds, Papa John's, Fish and Chips, Subway's, plus more. I like to eat at Red Chilli Indian, Bistro 8, Amici and The Black Prince Pub.
