though we are not disabled we were allocated the disabled room, which is a very spacious and comfortable room. The other rooms looked rather small though. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom radiator next to the toilet was stained with urine. Not very nice to see. Breakfast not included in the price and a bit expensive. |

I was most impressed with the halfway house. All the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and we enjoyed sleeping upstairs awayfrom our dogs who also enyoyed their stay. Far better than the one we usually stay in. We will return. |

The food was good as was the atmosphere The shower was poor and we were put in a room for a family/disabled guests which was not appropriate for us. The parking kerbs in the front are too high and made of stone and I damaged the underside of my car on them. |

The way the rooms are situated at the back. Also a good location. Nowhere to relax really, just a pub. Did not think much of the food, especially breakfast, very greasy. The "lake" was very small and it didn't say that it was only course fishing. |

My husband and i stayed at this hotel because our we were visiting our son who is based at the naval station nearby, we thought it would be nice to be as close as possible to the base, had we known what we were letting ourselves in for we would gladly have paid double and ventured further afield to find better accomodation. The rooms were very small which we could have tolerated, but having them set where every other guest had to pass and having blinds on the door and window that either had to be closed or pulled up did not give you a sense of much privacy. The breakfast was a fiasco, the milkjug was full of cereal, there was no orange juice and the hot water urn had to be filled, and there was only 10 guests in the room. |

The hotel was good value for money, clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. All in all a good choice. Could have perhaps had extra staff for breakfast but it wasn't too bad. |

The motel style room was good value for money, but the privacy aspect would be a lot better it the windows had some kind of net curtaining as the blinds did not have slates which could be opened. |

I chose this hotel because it was en route to Cornwall from London and fitted my schedule. The room was ok in terms of comfort and noise(away from the main road at the rear)and parking was directly outside the room door so easy to load up.Restaurant was basic, adequate pub grub, not expensive. Otherwise it was a pub,and not an attractive one either, with rooms attached. |

the rooms was very clean and tidy, the bathroom was well stocked and clean, and amenities in the room where good. there was a party that ran on in the function room until gone 1am we werent warned of this when we booked or upon arrival, as it was a very hot night we had the windows open and could hear the revellers until gone 2am which was no fun as we had had a very long drive to the hotel and another long drive home the following day. |

Rooms are built onto the back of a pub. Nice size, decent facilities. Good powerful shower. Breakfast not included booking via this website. I arrived late and was told they don't serve food after 9pm. Didn't even offer me a sandwich! |

We liked the continental breakfast and the fact that there was chocolate drink in our room - we do not drink tea or coffee so this was great from our point of view. Also were grateful to have a fridge in the room too. |
