I stayed overnight with my daughter (18yrs), we were late arriving due to M5 traffic, but we rang and the kitchen stayed open for us. We received a very warm welcome, the food we ordered was fabulous, and well prepared. Our room was clean and comfortable, beds were great, bathroom was clean and warm, with heated towel rail, and underfloor heating. We requested an early breakfast, which was no problem, and was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, and I would recommend Halfway House for a stopover. We will stay again next time we are in this area.
There was nothing Not to like.
Superb room and bathroom. Breakfast delicious.
High quality food at sensible prices. Charming hosts and breakfast served until 11.00 on Saturday.
Only fault really, shower could have done with a bit more life in it but that's being fickle.
good food, good location, friendly staff, would highly recommend this hotel will visit again..
Friendliness of staff, standard of food.
The large space we had and comfortable surroundings. The breakfast was great. The luxury Bathroom was like new.
the room was clean, comfy bed and lovely en suite. we also eat at half way house the food was excellent, best steaks we have had in a long time. breakfast was very good also
having to leave
Great food/restaurant Lots of storage Big room/bathroom Big TV screen Warm & comfortable
A little isolated No shaver socket
Room was very tasteful
The quality of the venue, the meals ,either breakfast or the evening meal.Even though it is close to a busy road ,noise is not a factor at all.
Ordinarily, I wouldn't select main road accommodation, but I enjoyed reading reviews of the Halfway House, and booked for an overnight so that we could make an early start to an event at the local Three Counties Showground. Not at all disappointed! Friendly welcome, lovely clean and comfy room and spacious ensuite. We were able to sit and watch TV on a comfy sofa, while drinking tea and munching on lovely supplied biscuits. We enjoyed a superb supper and reasonably priced wine - the quality of the steaks 'amazing' (I'd return for these alone!) Yes, the ambiance was welcoming and warm, making this an ideal stopping place if one is planning attendance at the Showground, or visits to Worcester, Malvern or other musically/literary historic surrounding towns. The road leads to everywhere .... but the traffic sounds are silenced behind double glazing and heavy curtains. Enjoy and sleep well!
Good welcome, comfy room, excellent food. Owner cooked for us even though the restaurant was shut.
We stayed on Monday, when the restaurant is shut. We were the only people there. Constant road noise.
The evening meal was excellent. A real gastronomic delight.A real gem of a find.Restaurant very comfortable, warm & nicely decorated.Good choice for breakfast.Good service.Bedroom and bathroom facilities well thought out plenty of beverages.TV available.Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very noisy from fast main road.Small double bed.Very steep stairs to bedroom we were fine but elderly might find this difficult.
Friendly staff, nice room, lovely bathroom with big walk-in shower, excellent quality breakfast cooked to order. We also had an evening meal which was very good and not overpriced. Despite the proximity to the road (very handy location), the double glazing keeps out the traffic noise very effectively.
Absolutely nothing to dislike.
Small and friendly will go again
Ground floor room, with comfortable beds, choice of decaf tea and coffee and a very good bathroom. The evening meal was good and the breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of fresh fruit and cereal before the delicious cooked element. Good coffee. Books and DVDs available.
There was no teapot.
Well furnished room. Easy access to internet. Excellent breakfast.
Almost everything; the evening meal was a touch pricey but perfectly acceptable in standard. The location, right next to the A449, was far less of a problem than you might have thought - the room downstairs was well insulated. Bathroom a gem! Great centre for touring the area.
Great clean room. Beautiful breakfast & Dinner nice home cooked meal
Traffic noise, it's a shame the road is so close to the premises.
Excellent staff. Nothing is too much trouble.
Lovely comfortable and very clean large room - lot of traffic noise during day but very quiet at night. Evening meal was superb and our breakfast was excellent with wonderful fresh fruit and a large variety of food. We would love to come again if in the area.
Very friendly staff. Very good level of cleanliness. Restaurant had excellent choices with quick service and able to cater for particular dietary needs with no problem. Breakfast again excellent.
Nothing really. The Inn was accurately described and reviews helpful.
Food! (We had dinner and breakfast here and both were of a very high standard!) Rooms were very comfortable Staff were lovely and very welcoming We would definately come back!
a little drive from Malvern however this didnt cause much of a problem for us
Everything, nice clean room and bathroom, very kind staff, excellent dinner.
Excellent breakfast. Good dinner with nice choices and homegrown veg Attention to detail in bedroom and bathroom.
Expected it to be a pub not just a restaurant so we found it a bit quiet in the evening after dinner.
