The chic, modern Halkin has elegant bedrooms, a private gym and Michelin-starred Thai cuisine. It is set on a peaceful street, 10 minutes' walk from the shops of Knightsbridge. It is a glamorous London hotel about 800 meters from Hyde Park. Its stylish rooms have a marble bathroom, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service. Excellent Thai cuisine is served at nahm, and The Halkin Bar offers cocktails, afternoon tea and all-day dining. The Halkin offers access to COMO Shambhala Urban Escape, an Asian-inspired spa 5 minutes' walk away. Hyde Park Corner Tube Station is a 3-minute walk away. Hotel Rooms: 41

1) The location is great. 2) The staff were competent and positive. 3) The counter / desk that ran the length of the wall in the room was very useful and practical. 4) The design of the walls and the camouflaged doors was very clever. A) Price / performance is not good. This is a very expensive hotel. There should be more for the money or a lower price. B) The design of the room is not up to date. All travelers, not only business travellers, travel with gadgets which need charging. These days it is very likely that a traveller will have 3 things that require an AC outlet: 1) cell phone 2) laptop PC 3) camera There might even be an iPad involved. If there is a couple staying in the room, you can easiliy expect 5 different gadgets that need a plug. I dare you to try to find even TWO open plugs in room 504. There is only 1 on the desk. The 2nd required us to crawl behind a chair and unplug the radio. C) buzzing in the bathroom. D) cold floors in the bathroom. E) a bit of a chill in the room even when the heat was on high. F) VERY expensive breakfast. (That's why we did not eat there.)

The suite was very comfortable and spacious and the food excellent. That bookings are not available on-line for Nahm, and it was a problem to get dinner as many restaurants in the area were fully booked

The Halkin est un "boutique-hotel" du plus haut niveau. Les chambres sont très confortables et d'un luxe raffiné. Les salles de bain sont parfaites, toutes les installations de haut standing. Il est idéalement situé dans un quartier résidentiel entre le Buckingham Palace et le magasin "Harrods". Le tout a malheureusement un prix (élevé of course), mais Londres est aussi la ville la plus chère d'Europe.

Freundlicher Empfang - Service mit Wasser als Geschenk überall im Zimmer - Sauberkeit - schöne, gediegene Einrichtung - Wahl der Materialien und Qualität der Inneneinrichtung - ideale Lage. Einrichtung des Fitnessclubs ist ungenügend. Rauch- und Geschmacks- Immissionen, die von der Küche über die Klimaanlage im Hotel zirkulieren.

Affluent area but still in the heart of West End and Knightsbridge, staff friending and helpful, but need some work to be on th level of 4 seasons staff in my opinion. The restaurant has great service but the food is not up to certain Thai's I have tried. Only one incident of a roof service staff being slightly rude but I think you can put this down to english not being her 1st language. Overall a very good hotel.
