A wonderful hotel for a quiet relaxing weekend enjoying good food.
Fabulous room, beautiful bathroom, great restaurant 'Roosters' on site with a good menu. High quality experience overall
Wifi signal playing up, poor mobile reception so stuggled to work from my room and make calls.

Room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy.
Lovely rural location plenty of parking, pleasant friendly staff, very nice decor - room was nicely laid out, beautiful toiletries, plenty of tea and coffee supplies - comfy bed and lovely wet room! The restaurant is a real find an absolute must to visit, breakfast was included and it was superb!!
The wet room was badly designed as the plug for shower wasn't in a dip so the water seeped quite far out of shower! Also the shower was quite poor - really needs a power shower!
The decor, the staff, the food. The rooms were lovely & clean.
What`s not to like? Only thing missing is a spa.
Staff were very helpful. Great boutique decor. Lovely setting. Tasteful Menu.
Great room Friendly staff Excellent food Quite location
The location was just out of town in a beautiful secluded village & the quality of room fittings were first class
Nothing I will use this hotel whenever I am in the area
I liked the personal touch, and as I could not manage the price of a night at the Norfolk Hotel, this was as close as I could get to a delightful surprise. The room facilities are sumptuous and cater for a small number of guests. Book in plenty of time. Also a great wedding venue as I learned.
Restaurant menu could do with matching the same high standard the rooms offer. The three of us could not decide whether the dinner had been outstanding. The good news is that it does not need much more to make it so.
The entire experience
rooms very large light and well appointed with individual looking furniture not run of the mill. comfy bed. great bathroom and lovely toiletries. Restaurant was wonderful. Great food and music in the evening and fresh things on the menu daily. Also breakfast of high quality.
Prefer not to have wine from a tiny bottle. If you must use them why not pour into a large wine glass and serve by the glass. Looks like what a garden centre would serve as it is. Not a terrible complaint. Nothing is remotely terrible here it's almost wonderful in every way but this could be better.
Fabulous location. Comfortable and lush room with gorgeous decor. Fantastic service and food in the restaurant. Also enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard whilst enjoying a drink from the bar.
Comfy rooms, lovely food, easy to get to, staff very friendly and helpful, beds were amazing too. Would absolutely come back to stay again.
Desserts leave a little to be desired which is a shame given how good the rest of the food is.
The décor was lovely and the facilities were good quality. The restaurant food was excellent and the menu had a good selection of food for all tastes
The fact that I had booked a twin room and was put in a double on arrival and told that it was all that was left. When I complained I was told that it was booking.com's fault and was offered nothing to rectify the problem
Beautiful room. Thoughtful sample packs of I'Occitaine toiletries. All facilities necessary there and beautifully done. We didn't eat dinner there but breakfast was wonderful, pancakes!
Luxurious bedroom and bathroom in a quiet location
Food a little uninspired
Food was delicious, second to none, compliments to the chef. Hotel staff friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Standard of rooms and facility outstanding
opportunity for improvement, WiFi within the bar needs reviewing to ensure a connection can be made, as there is no 3G signal in the area, WiFi is a must.
Had one of the loft rooms which over looked the court yard, it was really lovely. Very clean and had a lovely comfortable nights sleep.
Breakfast was a very big disappointment. The menu in the room gave a wide selection of choice porridge, kippers, full English, fried, poach or scrambled eggs, toast etc. However, there was no menu on the table when we went down for breakfast. I did get the impression from the menu in the room that breakfast would be served to us at the table. However, we had to help ourselves. There wasn't much choice apart from what was on a long table in the room, fruit juices, grapefruit, yogurt, bacon. sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms and a few other little things A pot of tea was put on the table but I had to go and ask for toast, even though people came in after us and got there's straight away I know there was a few people down for breakfast but the staff seem very unprepared for this. So breakfast for me and my husband was very poor.
The Hotel was lovely and we would go back to this hotel.
Really nice hotel, off the beaten track with a good restaurant. Warm and friendly staff with clean good sized rooms. Great value for money.
The location was superb. The accommodation was excellent and all I could have wished for. On arrival I received a lovely welcome and during my stay the staff were a credit to the hotel for their polite and courteous help and friendliness . Such a fitting place for a wedding reception. The food was wonderful and I would dearly love to stay here again.
There was nothing to dislike and I would rate this venue 10/10 !
