Friendly staff. Luxuriously room with the most comfortable but we have ever slept in. A cosy and comfortable restaurant with excellent food. As for breakfast, well you can't beat fresh fruit and someone cooking you a full English and bringing it to you at the table. Thank you.
I would like to suggest a grab rail to help those of us who can't move so well, to be able to get in the shower!
Beautiful location, a little bit out of the City but well worth the drive, quiet, beautiful, and well thought out.
The hotel was clean, very comfortable and well decorated. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful.
Great hotel. Would not have hesitated revisiting but for hotel's allegation that I had smoked in the room. I had not!
The attempt to charge me £50 for smoking in the room when I had not smoked in the room at all. i roll my own cigarettes and may have left some tobacco shreds in the room. The hotel suggested I had smoked in the room. There could not have been any smell and could not have been any ash! Despite this an attempt was made by the hotel. I very much hope this is an isolated complaint and not anything more sinister
Everything - room was very nice, staff were great and food was superb
Be nice if it had a fitness suite, even just a small one as its quite remote and nothing much to do in the evening other than work and eat :(
One of the best hotels i've stayed in. Wonderful staff and gorgeous rooms, topped off with fantastic food. Highly recommended.
I stayed on my own whilst in the area for business and it was first class, the bathroom was massive with a lovely wet room type shower, twin wash basins and dressing gown with a lovely comfy bed. I had evening meal and breakfast and the food was first class
Nothing seems to have been spared in the design and the fitting out of this hotel. The bedroom, the bathroom, the restaurant. all very tastefully done. A really lovely place to stay, we shall return.
We did not like having to come away!!
Staff, room was lovely , clean ,spacious, food was lovely ,tranquil setting .
A wonderful hotel for a quiet relaxing weekend enjoying good food.
Fabulous room, beautiful bathroom, great restaurant 'Roosters' on site with a good menu. High quality experience overall
Wifi signal playing up, poor mobile reception so stuggled to work from my room and make calls.

Room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy.
Lovely rural location plenty of parking, pleasant friendly staff, very nice decor - room was nicely laid out, beautiful toiletries, plenty of tea and coffee supplies - comfy bed and lovely wet room! The restaurant is a real find an absolute must to visit, breakfast was included and it was superb!!
The wet room was badly designed as the plug for shower wasn't in a dip so the water seeped quite far out of shower! Also the shower was quite poor - really needs a power shower!
The decor, the staff, the food. The rooms were lovely & clean.
What`s not to like? Only thing missing is a spa.
Staff were very helpful. Great boutique decor. Lovely setting. Tasteful Menu.
Great room Friendly staff Excellent food Quite location
The location was just out of town in a beautiful secluded village & the quality of room fittings were first class
Nothing I will use this hotel whenever I am in the area
I liked the personal touch, and as I could not manage the price of a night at the Norfolk Hotel, this was as close as I could get to a delightful surprise. The room facilities are sumptuous and cater for a small number of guests. Book in plenty of time. Also a great wedding venue as I learned.
Restaurant menu could do with matching the same high standard the rooms offer. The three of us could not decide whether the dinner had been outstanding. The good news is that it does not need much more to make it so.
The entire experience
rooms very large light and well appointed with individual looking furniture not run of the mill. comfy bed. great bathroom and lovely toiletries. Restaurant was wonderful. Great food and music in the evening and fresh things on the menu daily. Also breakfast of high quality.
Prefer not to have wine from a tiny bottle. If you must use them why not pour into a large wine glass and serve by the glass. Looks like what a garden centre would serve as it is. Not a terrible complaint. Nothing is remotely terrible here it's almost wonderful in every way but this could be better.
Fabulous location. Comfortable and lush room with gorgeous decor. Fantastic service and food in the restaurant. Also enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard whilst enjoying a drink from the bar.
