just a tiny detail: no ironing facility.

A warm welcome at reception, shown to a luxury bedroom. Had a four poster bed that was covered in top class linens and blanket. Comfy mattress. Bathroom was really top of the range with no expense spared on the toiletries. Excellent dinner and breakfast served in room. All staff polite and cheerful. Will go back to stay again when not working.

This is the first time we have stayed here (wont be the last) and although it was only 1 night it was excellent. The staff are friendly the food is excellent and the room was wonderful. If your looking for something a little of the beaten track in beautiful surroundings this is the place for you

Fabulous bathroom, bath and shower superb, very powerful hot power shower and huge bath. Room was beautifully decorated and appointed, the TV sound could be switched to the bathroom so you can have a relaxing soak whilst listening to the tv. Very comfy bed, complimentary bottle of sparkling water every day, very peaceful and quiet at night, totally relaxing and with a luxury feel that is amazing for the price they charge. The restaurant was very good also and all staff were extremely friendly and quick to help.

My only slight negative isnt really a complaint but the bar and restaurant are the same room so people who enjoy a cosy bar for a few drinks with maybe a tv will be dissapointed.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The room was spotless, bed was amazing, couldn't have asked for anymore! When staying at this hotel you must try the restaurant, food was amazing both in the evening and the breakfast. Will definately be trying to think of another reason to come and stay at this hotel!!

The room was luxurious and perfect for a romantic night away. The bath was amazing and the location was quiet. We found the staff helpful and accomodating, the food in the restaurant was of a very high standard and reasonable for both portion and presentation. Highly recommended.

lovely rooms, reminded me that it diesnt take much investment to make hotel rooms to feel that little bit unique.

The staff were very friendly, the room was exceptional and the breakfast was also good.

We arrived mid-afternoon, after booking in and checking out the room we went to the bar for a drink. After a couple of drinks we returned to our room because the restaurant/bar area was cold. However, when we returned to our room the heating was off and it was so cold we contacted reception and requested that the heating be put on. The heating was put on by reception immediately. The heated towel rail in the sumptous bathroom never got hot, therefore, the towels didnt dry and the room felt cold when it was used.

Perfect location for me, good staff and will be a regular stop from now on

The feeling of total relaxation. The gorgeous bedroom. The fantastic food. The friendly staff. The quietness. LOVED IT

Absolutely nothing, but would have liked a cosy little bar, although there was a small area in the restaurant that we didn't see till it was too late, so I suppose we could have had a quiet drink there before or after the meal. But next time !
