It had cheap rooms in a good location. It wasn't as bad as i expected The reviews had me anxious (bed bugs etc) - but the rooms were tidy. The facilities were pretty basic (the shower was shoddy). Breakfast wasn't very nice.

I had problems with the shower which were not resolved and I had to leave without being able to have a shower. Employee I spoke to didnt seem to care very much and said he would tell the manager. I heard nothing from the manager, I sent an e mail yesterday to the manager and I am still awaiting a reply. Not happy.

It had avaliable rooms for New Years Eve!! There was no air conditioning and the heat in the room was unbearable throughout the night even with the window wide open and radiator turned off.

It was amazing value for the location and facilities. I felt safe and at home for the two days I was there. It was by means luxurious but for the price it was very comfortable. I think breakfast could be improved. Maybe there could be more options so that you could pick what you actually wanted on your plate. I got some things I wouldn't have chosen (and didn't eat) and not enough of the food that I did want.

I thought it was a well run, quiet and efficient hotel. The staff did not say much however and could be a little more talkative to break the ice of a new arriving. It is a more old style guest house but my room was comfortable and well heated in the cold weather conditions. In all I would stay there again and recommend it to friends. Not so much a dislike but perhaps some quiet background music or a TV showing breakfast TV could be used in the dining room to help create more of an atmosphere when groups of strangers are getting together to dine? It was pin drop silent down there so when guests are eating they become conscious of each other making eating noises. Aside from that the taps on my sink in my room moved around a little but as I said for my stay it was perfectly fine and I would stay here again.

It had everything needed for an overnight stay to take in a theatre visit. I had requested blankets for one bed instead of a duvet, but these were not available.

Geographoc situation near the shopping area (Oxford street, Regent's street and Covent Garden), calm street, pretty old house, advantageous price. Cold welcoming, old interiors and room, bathroom with malfunctionning flush, borderline bedclothes and towels. Breakfast non tested.

It was clean and fine - bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Nothing grand for the price. Decor was a bit shabby, but clean enough. Breakfast was a bit limited - either orange juice or coffee (not both) and either fry or cereal (not both).

Its really simple.... There is only one thing you can like about this hotel and its the location This hotel is a disgrace..... There is a difference between an old hotel that is clean and well maintained .....and a hotel that is old and grimy and beyond repair where the dirt is now part of the fabric of the building...... The carpets and bedspread felt greasy and were badly discoloured and bloodstained ... the bathroom was ingrained with dirt and limescale .. with no water pressure... I honestly felt safer waiting to shower at the next hotel I stayed and was too fearful to even try breakfast.... The management really need a re think.... The location is adequate being 5 min walk from Oxford Circus Try at your own peril !!

Location Twin room booked and confirmed for two engineers working in the area. Upon arrival Double room given, said no twin rooms longer available as someone who had booked double had been given the twin. Not interested in helping. When pushed, hard, agreed that they would send a blow up bed to room. No reduction given.

This is a budget hotel, and within that category it offers clean rooms, towels changed and room cleaned daily. Friendly and helpful staff. Fairly clean room and full English breakfast provided was excellent. Location is very good for shopping on Oxford Street, and walkable to Madame Tousads, and a 15 minute walk to Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Soho and theaters. A money saving "cabin" room for a single person is ok if you really don't mind small spaces.
