Poor Breakfast with tired looking fried eggs
breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
The most comfortable bed ever!
Clean comfortable room, great breakfast, nice staff
This is a perfect four star hotel in a nice quiet location. It is spoiled by a poor restaurant serving poor food badly cooked.
The dreadful overpriced and poorly prepared food in the restaurant.
Beautiful rooms, extremely comfortable and surprising well priced including the food, which was delicious.
staff on front desk lovely. room was nice easy to find. although we didn't have time to use gym/sauna ect was nice to know if we stayed longer we could have used them, gym looked good clean when looked through window.
room was clean except for small cobweb above bed & some near curtains. didn't get much sleep due to doors banging shut.
Really great location as it's straight off the A63 and very easy to find. The food was delicious and really enjoyed breakfast each day and an evening meal on the first night. Excellent food service also when we wanted a light snack one evening.
Only problem we had was that the room temperature was rather warm and we weren't sure how to decrease it but we just opened the window and it soon cooled down.
Easy to find, good parking close to reception area, nice room, good bathroom, helpful staff always available, good food in bar, nice ambiance, quiet, free wifi which always worked and with fast download speed, good desk light.
Room was very small: OK for one guest but would be a bit cramped for 2. Other than that, really nothing.
Breakfast was poor
The bed was comfortable and the downstairs area was lovely
The dirty earplug on the floor next to the bed, the used contact lense in the bathroom, and the room was too hot!
Very clean, well refurbished hotel. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good with a lot of choice. All together a very pleasant experience. A lot hotels n the UK could take a leaf from the Hallmark hotel
Very noisy at 3 o clock in the morning told reception next morning but fell on deff ears
Bed was very comfy and extra large. Heavenly.
Being told via phone 2 hours prior to check-in in that the hotel had not received our booking via booking.com and were moving us to another hotel. When I created a room was found!!! Saturday breakfast was poor. Undercooked bacon, over stood eggs not what you need after a night on the ale.
When we checked in, the receptionist couldn't find our booking details and took her ages to find it. I ask for a nice room with a front view and she gave me the garden view so complained and got the front view. Tv signal was poor and couldn't even watch tv, I rang the reception which took forever for someone to answer and then she stated they are having a problem. Tv wasn't working for two days!!!!
wedding was lovely food and entertainment good. facilites in toilets excellent.
couldn,t check in till 2pm yet wedding was at 1.30, would of liked to have freshened up before wedding. do think special occassion guests could check in early
The environment was refreshing by smiling faces of the entire staff
I was so disappointed with the quantity of food provided at tea time. My wife and I slipped hungry all night after spending £50 in your restaurant. your Manu list does not show a picture of the ordered food. Very disappointed on that.
similar to home from home
Being awakened at 1.30 by moving furniture in room above me.
Sauna,wedding fare food,wedding organization.
previousDrunken wedding party
Lovely wedding there fab day
No air con in room woke up sweeting no fans, so had to open windows but it was raining so kept us awake, went to make coffee in the morning no milk in the room, couldn't find a phone to phone down to ask for some, there's no bath mat in the bath so be careful when getting out...
The place itself is very nice, modern, clean and relaxed. The rooms are very good and well equipped. The staff are excellent and do seem genuinely interested in the customers comfort. The restaurant is good quality and good value. The breakfast is a buffet, but is again good quality and choice. The price was excellent value.
Great location by the humber bridge, really nice rooms, modern and clean. Service was excellent and I do visit time and time again. A nice business hotel and I think one of the best in the area. I do recommend it.
The restaurant - it eems to love to "nuke" every meal. The food is really pretty good but everything comes out at a million degrees centigrade and a bit over-cooked. Wine list very limited and staff don't understand it.
Bar area was great, very easy going for a woman staying on her own. Food was great.
I booked a double and got a twin room. No speciality teas available in the room i.e. Mint, raspberry, earl grey etc.
Fantastic food, plenty of choice, served beautifully. Table looking out at the Humber Bridge. Lovely room, relaxing stay.
Slipped in the shower despite putting bathmat in, as there is no handrail. Receptionist frightened us to death by trying to charge us extra for the meal when we had booked a dinner, bed and breakfast stay.
