I liked the convenience of being close to Victoria train station - it's just a few minutes walk from Victoria. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained. A decent breakfast is available in the breakfast room, but the biggest plus is the air conditioning in the rooms. It's very efficient! Also, wireless internet is available, and it's included in the rate. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. The rates are more reasonable than other hotels I priced in the London area. There are lots of small shops and places to eat nearby. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and will stay there again when I visit the UK. The rooms are a little small, but small hotel rooms are common in London. I have stayed in both the main building and the annex buildings and they are all equally clean and well maintained. I didn't like the annex as much as the main building - but only because there was no lift/elevator. The staff did help us carry our luggage up the stairs, so that made it a little bit easier. I'd suggest if you have lots of luggage, stay in the main building where the lift is.

The staff were very friendly, and so helpfull. The breakfast was wonderful. Great location. This hotel was not the best value for money, for the price we paid the rooms were very small and a few of the lights did not work, or the heater in the bathroom. They were also missing simple things like 'do not disturb' signs for the door and extra blankets. We were not making much noise at all, but as the walls were so thin the people staying next door banged on the walls because we had the tv on, even though i woke up because of them snoring later in the night, not the most private hotel room because of this.

The locaation was good and the receptionists were very helpful. Our room was in the basement, next to dining room so was very noisey early in the morning. The dining room staff were very very unpleasant it was obvious that they weren't happy in their work! The breakfasts were adequate but much to my husbands disgust there was no bacon on the three mornings we were there. We would not stay again nor would we recommend it to anyone. It certainly is not value for money.a

The location is the only advantage that it had. I was given a room in the annexe, a seperate building with no reception. I was given a basement room with a very small window which was very dark even though I had specifically asked when I booked not to be given a basement room. The walls were paper thin and I could hear the plumbing from the room above and at the side every time they used the bathroom. As a lone female traveller I did not feel entirely safe in a seperate building, a block from the main hotel with no reception etc. The overall atmosphere was dingy and a lower standard than what I would have expected from Best Western as I have stayed in other hotels in the chain. Very expensive for the level of comfort and the general facilities which were poor.

The location was great: a 5-minutes-walk from the Victoria Station (trains, busses, the Tube), close to Tate Gallery, the Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey. It had free WiFi and a great breakfast (eggs, beans, toast, tomatos, sausages, breakfast flakes, juices, fruit, cheese, yogurt...). The rooms were a bit small (but that's usual in London).

The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. The room was clean, too The room was situated below groundfloor in the annexe. That was not a four-star-room. You could not open the existing window.

The staff was very helpful at the desk and walking my bags to the apartment. They gave directions that allowed to arrive on time. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The tub and shower was under the stairway which did not allow a 6 foot man to get into the bath area.

The breakfast was very good, although the breakfast room itself was very cramped, with not much room to get round the many tables in there. I also liked the fact that the rooms were pretty up to date in terms of flatscreen tv and new(ish) shower. My room was in a building completely separate from the main hotel, in fact it wasn't even in the same street. It just doesn't seem right, putting on my winter coat just to go for breakfast.

Not the first visit to this hotel and it won't be the last, location is great for Victoria coach and rail station, no bar so not a place to stay if you want to socialise at night but there are plenty of Pubs in the area if needed (we were with a group of old servicemen so did need to!!) reception was helpfull, room warm in winter. Always clean, just right for shopping and sightseeing only a stones throw from Buckingham Palace.

Good location for the price, nice and friendly and helpful staff The room was really small - I could not move as the luggage (1 piece) was taken all the space on the floor - the room is literally 2*2meters.

Excellent price, rooms cleaned daily, not too far from Victoria Station, good value for money. Tea & coffee makers in the room, flatscreen tv with plenty of channels, roomy shower. Some staff are polite but a majority don't say as much as hello to you and make you feel like any question you have is a bother to them. No fridge in the room, which becomes a problem during longer stays. No air- conditioning -- room is a bit stuffy and very warm. The only option is to open the window but even that doesn't work some of the time. Walls are paper-thin and you can hear everything your neighbours are doing and saying. The hotel, while somewhat close to Victoria Station, is still about a 15-20 minute walk away depending on traffic, which is occasionally inconvenient.
