the bedroom light stuck on. The boss was very apologetic and gave advice at 11 pm, but could not actually fix it. Eventually we fixed it; but it was disconcerting.
Cleanliness - Rooms, Bedding, Bathroom.
Nobody in attendance. 'VERY' Inadequate parking Moaning neighbour
It was a handy location for our purpose. Breakfast was good.
Room was a bit small - had trouble finding a place to put our suitcase.
It was filthy and we have the pictures to prove it. Dirty cups, dirty toilet etc.
Very good breakfast and staff happy to accommodate a veggie diet. Staff friendly Rooms comfortable
Didn't really expect the owners dog to be roaming around breakfast room/ lounge area, as a live in pet in the accommodation isn't advertised when you book. Also from a hygiene point of view I don't expect a dog to be anywhere near the kitchen area. Shared bathroom A bit further out of Tring than I was expecting
Mark the owner was friendly sand very helpful.
The shared bathroom was cramped and the bath mats obviously had not been cleaned for some time. We think they should be changed daily.
Spacious rooms, quiet place
Spacious room, clean. comfortable beds. Good breakfast, very friendly staff. Quiet location.
Borrowed money to give change to another customer and did not pay back. We did not see him after the first day, no Lady there at all. Supposed to be broadband but we could not pick up, no one there to help.
Being able to arrive late at night and being meet with a nice friendly welcome.
The owner was very accommodating. We were leaving very early on the second day & he left breakfast stuff available in the fridge. Continental breakfast on Day 1 was good. We didn't have the cooked breakfast, but it smelt very nice. Parking was available.
The room was clean & comfortable, but a bit basic. There was a shared bathroom. The B & B is in a small village on a residential estate : fine for us as we were visiting family, but it is a fair way from Aylesbury.
