The host being friendly and helpful.
Very welcoming,highly recommend.
Location great . breakfast super . and paul a great host and very informative.
A very well presented and quaint B&B. It is well located with a few other B&Bs all within easy walking distance to all the eating places, shopping and sights. It offered one of the better breakfasts we have had on our trip till that time, with more choices - so do ask.
Ours was one of adjoining rooms with a door between them, which gave very little privacy to either room. We could hear everything, even at a low level, and so we are sure they heard us too. Our toilet was quirky as well (it did work, but we've never seen one with an electric motor disposal). And then there was the limited parking. OK, if you can get one of the two spots in the front, otherwise other parking was away from the house, free and off-street, but unload all your bags at the door of the B&B first, if you can. Either way the owner will need to go with you to show you where the other parking is.
Paul runs the place very well. We liked his room, his cooking, his decor and his style. You won't be disappointed unless you are not of goodwill.
Parking at the front is very tight but hey it's Stratford... lucky to get any parking within a mile.
Proprietor excellent. Room excellent. Breakfast superb Location good. Parking good. Wi Fi excellent.
Room could do with wardrobe for clothes.
Host Paul very friendly. Location is fabulous....3 minutes walk into the centre of Stratford with lots of pubs and restaurants plus all the usual Shakespeare stuff. Free off road parking outside the door, or in a private car park at the back. Very nice breakfast.
Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the excellent cooking. We had a good sleep.
Very small basin in roomh
Breakfast was fabulous, the owner Paul was great fun will be visiting him and his lovely house again.
One of the most homely and friendly b&b I've ever visited in my life. Very clean and comfy, full of nice little details. The whole house is so cosy and Paul, the owner, is the loveliest host you could ask for (and a good chef! Our breakfast was delicious!). We'll go back to Hamlet House for sure! :)
There was absolutely nothing I didn't like, it was a very satistying experience and I have zero complaints.
Location excellent short walking distance to all the main attractions Fantastic and friendly host very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast very good and rich cooked fresh on the spot. Had a lovely time
good location and Paul was an excellent host. Breakfast was very good both in quality and choice. Great to have a good cup of coffee rather than instant. Room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and nice linen. Would definitely recommend Hamlet House and if we visit Stratford again would book again.
Whats not to like?
Was minutes away from centre of town, was very clean and host was excellent great choice of breakfast and freshly made. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone going to Stratford.
When we first arrived, I couldn't park out the front so had to go into a pay and display car park. Paid for an hour and went to the B&B. Paul the owner very kindly walked us to some extra free spaces that were just down the road, so I was able to move the car straight away. Very comfy beds, breakfast choice amazing, owner very friendly, 5 minute walk into Stratford centre, Would definitely stop again !
The whole house was super, the bed was very comfy, the breakfast was superb, there was a lot of quirky objects about the house which we loved. Paul was an icredible host and we would certainly go back again.
we ordered Benedict eggs as our breakfast and it was excellent. the host/ chef Paul was very attentive to what we needed.
as a poor sleeper the soundproofing of the room is not good enough, but it didn't affect my sister, who slept by my side and seemed to sleep well. soap is provided in the room for hand washing while shampoo/ shower gel is not included in the provision.
Delicious omelet in the morning!!
Paul is the nicest host imaginable. The room was cozy, quaint, and compact. The location was unbeatable - halfway between the train station and the theatres.
Very friendly and helpful owner excellent breakfast and good central position
Slightly small room
would be better if bath cream and shampoo are made available
All above plus friendly and helpful
Nothing we didnt like
The owner was very friendly. The breakfast was superb.
The room was clean and nicely done out, but it was on the small side and I didn't like the fact that it wasn't a proper en -suite.
