Very clean tidy modern and comfortable Hotel. Friendly Staff, Excellent value for money and a lovely complimentary breakfast included. The facillities were excellent with everything in the rooms you would need. very cozy. would very much recommend.
None that come to mind
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was central for where we wanted to be. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with everything we needed ie: hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Plenty of tea and coffee to make a drink with. Over all very good.
Not the hotels fault but there was a 50th birthday party booked on the Saturday and they were very noisy! Just spoilt it a bit.
Rooms were great.. as were the staff
Breakfast was a bit higgle piggle self serve but OK
The room was clean new and modern. It had everything you needed. The shower was nice and large, the bed was comfy. Nice tea coffee facilities. Friendly staff, good tv and air con facilities.
The shower didn't have a lot of power. The sliding glass door as a wardrobe and toilet door wasn't ideal.
room location parking
breakfast - cold, horrid and not professional. a young girl child was wandering in and out of the kitchen. I cannot recall a worse breakfast buffet
Complimentary breakfast-superb choice! Convenient nearby eateries.
Too hot overnight. Drove past it a couple of times before finding it- signage on main road would be helpful.
Friendly receptionist on check out.
Poor standard of cleaning: Alarming smears of what looked like blood/mucus on the headboard & wall above desk. Empty phial covered in dust on floor near curtains. Food: Oven allegedly just broke so only choice of Chicken Tikka masala, or 2 salads. I had a very poor chicken Caesar salad. Very limited breakfast - really cheap ingredients. Located on a very limited retail park so no options.
Excellent staff at reception and at bar could not do enough , pleasant and smiling. Room was very quiet(once air conditioning was turned off) ,
There were long black hairs stuck to floor mat I noticed when exiting shower ( I have very short hair so I knew they were not mine , this put me off room and made me question cleanliness , everything else in room looked clean and tidy) Air conditioning overly noisy.
Its locality is pretty good to cater for most people. There are handful of high street brand shops. Mostly pleased me since it was very close to my next place of call the next morning after having a palatable breakfast.
The window can't open, just a little aperture is needed, to catch outside fresh air whilst in the room. There was stamping sounds from above floor, as they walked/packed. Though I didn't lodge a complaint.
everything excellent well done to everyone
Staff, location, cleanliness,Price
Nothing at all.
We weren't informed of a wedding reception Saturday and while we understand these bookings happen we wouldnt have booked if we knew as we were up at 4:30am and the music was playing till 12am. However a lovely girl called Lauren on reception was very understanding and helped sort it out. I rated the staff as fair because the gentleman my partner first spoke to was very unhelpful but luckily Lauren helped sort everything out and I would like to thank her for her great customer service.
It was very quite despite the fact its location, if you don't fancy eating at the hotel, you have a great choice of pub restaurants to chose from including Domino's Pizza.
We had a problem with the cleanliness of some of the eating utensils, but that has now been resolved and I am sure it was just a slipup in their standards those two days we were there, we will return in the future and I'm sure we won't be disappointed.
The size of room and facitilies close by the hotel
Weren't told they had a wedding booked during our stay which affected the hotel menu on saturday evening this was disappointing as we had go elsewhere at short notice. Early sunday morning we were disturbed by loud voices from both the corridor and the room next door.
Just about everything. Cost us, through Booking.Com, £83 total for 2 people, for 2 nights, including B/Fast. Free well equipped gymnasium, also. Two budget pubs within yards, inexpensive food and drink. Would strongly recommend.
On a personal note, we crave fresh air, but the windows don't open. The Air Con was good, but we hate Air Con. Everything else more than made up for it.
room size and layout
Loss of mains water on 5-10-2014 and no immediate contingency plan put into operation. NO COFFEE NO WATER NO FRUIT JUICE All of these were plumbed into the mains. reduced Breakfast choice and lack of crockery/glasses
Room; Immaculately clean
Room; Some issues with wardrobe door blocking access to thermostat control!
Location, friendly staff especially Lauren
The lift was out of order most of our stay
beds are very old and uncomfortable. water pressure of the shower is ridiculously low which makes hard to have a shower.
Only stayed for one night but the Hamptin delivered a welcome and very comfortable stay. Didn't want to get out of bed was very comfy, best night sleep I've had in a hotel. We have family in the area so we will defiantly be staying again. Lovely rooms, nice staff very helpful. Would recommend.
Lack of bath.
Good location for us
The mattress was too hard we could not sleep.....the cooked breakfast was cold
Weatherspoon's next door.
Breakfast was not good bacon was left in fat sausages poor. didnt have cooked after the first day.
Lovely Clean modern Hotel with Spacious Bedrooms, I asked for a quiet room which ours was. Lovely en~suite with complimentary toiletries, shame about the see through door though no privacy for the loo! Shame the stay was tarnished by the water issue but am sure that was a one off so would return to the hotel.
On Sunday Morning mid shower the water all went off, am assuming a problem with the mains but non of the staff were forthcoming in telling us anything other than there was no water which we knew! Because of this breakfast was a disaster zone, no tea & coffee, no juice machine, no clean plates, & everywhere seemed in chaos. We left the hotel much earlier than expected which were not happy about as specifically booked it for later checkout than others. I appreciate probably a situation out of their control but but a dampener on our weekend.
