Hampton By Hilton Derby City Centre    

Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything you need. Staff fantastic. Great location for Derby city centre . I would fully recommend a night out in Derby. Breakfast was great . Best value hotel in the midlands at the moment.

Hotel can be easily missed if you don't know where it is as its tucked behind the holiday inn. More signage would help. Car parking over road in shopping centre but that's part of the course in most city centres these days.

First time we stayed in the Hampton and can not fault one thing about it, we will defo be booking and staying here again, thanks for an amazing weekend break :)

Clean and modern decor. Very good value for money.

Bed rather uncomfortable. Especially pillows. Breakfast limited choice and cooked fare at the budget end for ingredient quality. Lack of carpark not so much of an issue as expected: special rate with nearby long-stay parking was acceptable. For first time visitors, the location is very difficult to find. Needs better instructions - especially for drivers. Postcodes for Sat Nav would also help.

Clean bathroom (albeit without a bath) but the shower was nice.

no wi-fi in the room. In today's climate, everyone has wi-fi devices, and to not be able to use them, especially when traveling on business is a drawback and would stop me returning.

It was cold so it was great that shops and cinema etc were so close . The river looked lovely out the window, the room was comfy and very quiet, we didn't even hear fellow guests !

The room service was over priced, cold and tasteless ! Which was a shame as we stayed for my daughters birthday and she was so excited about ordering room service, won't do that again.

Lack of parking facilities a bit of a fag

Rooms were a great design very clean, fab location, Buffet breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again.

2 out of 4 key cards stopped working which was annoying. Mattress was a bit too hard for my personal preference.

when the heating wasn't working we was offered a room change plus our parking was paid for the inconvience of swapping rooms

Excellent accomodation, staff and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Would have liked some biscuits in the room. Well done to the staff

Staff good, housekeeping went that extra mile to accomodate my room request. Breakfast more than adequate for free.

Carparking is pain!

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good. It was very convenient for the shops and entrtainment. The staff were helpful with directions to good restaurants and the theatre all wll withing 10 minutes walk away so we never had to move the car from the nearby parking site in the sopping centre.

The view from our room onto a bare courtyard was not quite what I would have liked but it was quieter than the rooms by the gym, I was told when we were allocted our room. If we go again I will phone ahead to ask for a better room view.
