We stayed overnight for an early flight. Staff very professional and friendly, my wife was impressed with the room my two young grandchildren loved it, and we enjoyed Marco Pierre White's restaurant. Efficient shuttle service to the airport next door. All very good value, happy to recommend.
Travelled with young children were able to sit in a spacious area near bar where children could sit at table to colour and play game and adults could enjoy drink. Staff very good
Very good value for money only down side there was a Christmas party going on and we might as well have joined in as music very loud until midnight. So loud could hear what D J was saying and our room was on first floor.
Lounge and eating areas
Friendly staff Very comfortable bed Awesome shower room Next door to Marco Pierre Whites restaurant Shuttle bus to airport
Everything except access.
Originally couldn't find it. Thought it was on the A30. Access road narrow but it is evident that the area is being developed and in time it will be fine.
ease of checking in easy, free parking wonderfully comfy room (inc armchair & footstall) can travel 'light' (toiletries, towels etc provided) - they even provided me with toothbrush & paste! (I forgot mine) choice of feather or manmade fibre pillow. fantastic complimentary breakfast v quiet - never heard anyone else wandering corridors
nothing to dislike!
This is a lovely hotel, attentive staff and clean comfortable room
The whole experience, from reception to breakfast, staff so friendly and helpful, room spotless, comfortable & modern.
If I have to find a criticism it would be the access to the hotel, though not a problem just fiddly. It was like a treasure hunt with a lovely prize at the end!
Food, deco and gym
One dim member of staff!
Close to airport. New, clean, bright, comfortable. Excellent staff. Breakfast good.
Location, cost, facilities, staff .
The very narrow track leading to the hotel. Otherwise no complaints.
Service, staff, Cleanliness
It was a really difficult task to fine the hotel: there were NO signs on the road. It took us 30 min to find it.The GPS navigator takes is not even able to locate it.
Good quality bed in the spacious room. The modern bathrooms are very good indeed, as is the price for the stay - this really is a superb, modern hotel. Hassle free canteen style breakfast routine - lovely food. Lastly, I like the fact that sat-nav dependant people won't be able to find it.
The bar. It's charmless and lacking in ale and staff.
Friendly and helpful reception staff, and super rooms.
Great hotel; warm friendly welcome even late on a wet rainy night and despite my moan about the post code and the place being difficult to find. Comfortable functional bar area. Very clean and comfortable twin room good bathroom and shower. Good buffet breakfast although not over impressed with the seating area or the school catering bit of clearing your own table!! However I would definitely use this hotel again it is so close to the airport.
The fact I drove round for ages trying to find the place .......... wrong post code ....yes I now know it is being dealt with. How this great hotel ever got planning permission being at the end of a single track almost farm track of a road with over grown hedges is beyond me. Please improve the access and also the signs for the hotel.
The staff were very friendly
Breakfast was a farce on Sunday. At one point there was no Potatoes, Sausages or Bacon and no-one realised. The toasters are useless -toast is either very under done or burnt.
:) the whole experience was enjoyable - spacious room, lovely facilities in room and around the hotel, breakfast was very relaxed and flexible to needs
having to go home - wanted to stay longer
Size of room was good, contemporary style/decor was nice Cleaniness was excellent
Signage to the hotel in the dark was too small - took ages to locate hotel. Hotel could not give me a poached egg when asked as it is a set breakfast. not able to open a window for fresh air. Did ask for a room with a bath but only 9 rooms had baths and were sold out.
Clean, new building. Friendly staff and a pleasant reception area. Lovely breakfast.
The pillows on the bed are too soft and not very comfortable.
No room service
Having spent a week treking, HIlton was definitely what I needed to recharge my batteries. The bed was comfy with good pillows- not just hollow fibre one's! The bathroom was well stocked and shower was amazing. Well worth the price of attaining creature comforts again.
Not too mad about the location, unless you are coming from the airport- it is pretty tucked away, so be warned. Don't take the "ramp to the left" (as the sat nav told me), otherwise you end up in the next town over =(
Breakfast choice. Car parking. Free hot drinks in lounge as advertised on website, all day. Extra large shower units
Blood stain mattress cover. Having to move rooms due to stained mattress cover. No opening windows. Noise of air con in hallway all night. Undercooked burgers. Shouting general manager in front of our grandson. Being told hot drinks in lounge were not free and had to be paid for, which we told him was not what the web site said, of which he argued. Had to leave early due to gm being off hand, with the fact there are faults at the Inn, of which he needs to man up and take on board.
Good standard of room, bed, pillows etc. Good breakfast.Friendly staff.
Hard to find- No signposts from main road and this is important because the hotel is not on SAT NAV.
