Nearness to the airport
Finding it! Very poor signage
I've stayed in premier inn's on many occasions and this hotel has been the best.
The only downside was the bar area and no restaurant, although I understand that this issue is being dealt with.
Everything was perfect, a really lovely stay, would highly recommend.
Every thing nice place to stay
Cleanliness - pleasant staff
Bedroom far too hot, and unable to turn temperature down. Small, lumpy pillows, heavy duvet, only one chair in bedroom. Very basic room. Marco's restaurant disappointing; greasy fast-food.
Staff Breakfast fine
No air in rooms
Excellent hotel. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Good choice of breakfast and nicely cooked. Would definitely recommend.
Lack of signposts to hotel.
good room size comfy bed good food at restaurany next door
sat nav struggled to get to hotel, signs nearby quite small and we missed first time
the rooms a fantastic design the beds are comfortable the hotel is very quiet great price Breakfast great
we didnt stay longer!!!!!
We have used this hotel twice now it's w excellent hotel very clean beds very comfy breakfast awsome x
Clean comfortable and rooms very modern
No windows to open
Friendly helpful staff especially reception and bar/restaurant, nothing was too much trouble, the lounge area was very relaxing, breakfast was plentiful
Clean room,very good brekfast
We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was all we could want and even more. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and welcoming.
Possibly the only drawback was some of the inconsiderate guests, late at night, making their way back to their rooms and then doors banging shut but this was in no way the fault of the hotel.
Friendly helpful staff and comfortable quiet rooms.
rooms were very comfortable and clean.
would not expect a big hotel like this to run out of eggs for breakfast.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with towels, soaps and shampoos. The complimentary tea and coffee were refilled after we'd used them. Breakfast had a wide choice, which even offered something my fussy daughter would eat.
The only downside was our key cards. On a couple of occasions during our two night stay they either wouldn't call the lift, or they wouldn't open our room door and I had to ask a member of the cleaning staff to open our door for us, which I found quite embarrassing.
Breakfast ok but quality of sliced supermarket bread for toast - only mediocre. Some hotels of that calibre have a really wholesome choice of locally produced breads.
Because the hotel was right beside a busy dual carriageway sleep at night would have been very disturbed except for the double glazing. However being built with windows which didn't open at all so no fresh air allowed very difficult for people prone to asthma from air conditioning. Also the bathroom door which served the purpose of entry and wardrobe door was so heavy it was unmanageable for the elderly (my husband is nearly 80). Location is brilliant for proximity to Exeter Airport if flying in but the directions to the hotel were very poor. Signs too small and not enough of them. We were so glad we didn't arrive at night otherwise would never have found it. Map showed it on the dual carriageway a30 but there was a continuous hedge of trees around it which the map didn't show. We had to ask locals until someone knew where it was. Leisure suite was disappointing as there was no pool, only a gym.
Marco pierre white restaraunt spacious room and decor
Not enough suitable seating to eat breakfast e.g. Too many tub chairs and sofas not enough dining chairs also sign at top of road very small difficult to find
The Hotel served my purpose perfectly, it was very clean the staff were professional and friendly, there was no noise.
Room for 4 adults (queen + sofa bed) was as expected and great value for money if booked ahead online, although I dont think walk-in rates are competitive; Helpful staff; Good soundproofing (no airport noise) Close to the airport - is walkable. Great to have breakfast [even if a fairly basic] included for the price. Is a newly built hotel so new furnishings & bath fittings were good (Villeroy & Boch, no less!)
Location signposting on google maps was horrendous - in my opinion *every* business owner must ensure their satnav postcode / maps location is accurate. Spent roughly 15 minutes trying to locate the place. Possibly because the place is new & hasnt registered properly on google maps yet.
Clean Good value for money Nice breakfast
Arrived for 2pm check in but rooms weren't ready Difficult to find - could do with some signage as you get near the airport
