“ Check in was very pleasant, and efficient. The room was clean and crisp, everything is new, and it was such a treat to have REALLY COMFORTABLE bedding. We liked it so much we stayed a second night before we headed off to Cardiff. Parking is Free, as was wifi. ”

Pleasant enough hotel, room was clean and staff OK, but not as special as it makes out for the cost... Felt like slightly upmarket Ibis but I couldn't really justify the additional cost... would recommend only if could get improved deal.

room very good but could have been cleaner.staff very friendly and helpful, food plentiful ,but had to ask for more cutlery and cups.all in all we enjoyed our stay there and would reccomend it. no cups/cutlery at the ready breakfast times.tables not cleaned after the meal.

We have stayed here many many times and find everything very user friendly from booking the hotel to checking in and checking out. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to make the stay easy and better for you. Breakfast is sometimes a little busy and if you come down a little late can be cold/not enough selection left but for the price charged cannot really fault anything

Breakfast was excellent. squeaking bed frame, and the TV automatically turned on in mid night which was scary, though it was due to some loose connection problem, unplugged the cable.

The staff, particularly the manager (Kurt) were helpful in many ways,they cared about our stay and assisted us to make the best out of our few days in S Wales. The Hotel was clean and comfortable. We saw beach, castle, mountains and country all in 3 days! The sat nav will send you into the factory opposite, but that's the post code and not the hotels fault.

Nice new facility easy access to M4 but not noisy Receptionist was particularly rude, desperately needs to go on customer service course and needs to learn some common manners which are sadly lacking.

Comfortable, clean spacious room. High standard of en suite shower. Good parking. Excellent access to M48. Choice of cooked breakfast was minimal for someone who avoids sausages and hash browns. Scrambled egg had run out when I arrived (shortly after 7am). The bacon rashers were stuck together. There were no mushrooms or beans or tomatoes.

Loved the room, decor & layout of whole hotel. Stunning bathroom and adored the fact the hand soaps, washes & moisturisers are provided as wall-mounted & easy to use. Easy check-in & friendly, helpful staff. Plenty parking available for vehicles. Husband felt the mattress was a bit on the firm side for him, as he prefers a softer mattress.

As ever it met every expectation - £98 for 2 nights b+b - talk about good value - 5th time - room 328 - double bed - comfy quiet and efficient - puts a lot of more expensive hotels to shame - easy to get to from M4 - easy to get Magor with its supermarket 2 good pubs + Indian fusion plus take-always - went flower show in Cardiff - easy peasy - would stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend - what more can be said!!!!!!

Excellent room, very comfy bed, very good facilities, super breakfast, will stay there again,now we know how to get to it ! Nightmare to find, sat nav didn't recognise, could see it from road but couldn't get it, took twice as long to get there as it should have, would have helped to have more detailed directions on website.
