Very close to the centre of York

We had awful, cold weather (not the fault of the hotel). I needed a hot bath to warm me up - there was only a shower.

Very helpful staff, well designed rooms, good gym

Reconstituted egg used for scrambled eggs - not fresh. choice of food could be better in the bar.

This hotel was excellent! Friendly staff, lovely room, comfortable bed and great location to local attractions. Highly recommended.

Absoloutly loved this hotel! Stayed for two nights for my boyfriends birthday .. Hotel in a great location near the station and very easy to find . V modern hotel , rooms cleans And beautiful ! The shower is massive . Would deffinetly return . Staff are very helpful , helped us decide where to go for a meal on a night to suit us . Breakfast in a morning was gorgeous and loved the style of the buffet breakfast was everything from bacon , sausages , crumpets , crosients , fruit , cereal and yogs !

Clean, well organized good service.

I stayed with 2 friends in a triple room and it was really very comfortable. The hotel was quiet with no rowdy guests. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was really good and well presented and served. The design was modern, clean and new. It's the sort of place you could easily take family to.

The shower was a bit pathetic!

The breakfast was lovely- lots of choice too.

The tap in the sink wasn't fitted over the sink properly- was too far back so water couldn't get into sink properly.

The hotel was in a perfect location. Everything in walking distance. Can't fault the hotel or breakfast at all . Would definitely stay again.

Size of twin bed, size of shower, general facilities, friendly helpful staff, v good room layout, nice tv, good double glazing, tasteful decor, very good large mirror, 24 hour bar/hot drinks, snacks. Very good value for money and extremely comfortable.

Not able to open window. Situated opposite largest night club in city so abusive young people outside when returned to hotel. Only smoking area right outside entrance door - needs to be round corner - every small movement triggers automatic door. No offroad parking facilities

Fantastic central location, near everything you want or need. Everything in walking distance, shops, restaurants, pubs, attractions. Even though it was a central location it was very peaceful. I really liked this hotel for it's simplicity. Would definitely return.

We liked the easy check in . able to leave luggage till room was ready . breakfast easy to have . choice lovely . rooms great large and comfy.

Impersonal and breakfast. Rang hotel before booking as I have some mobility issues.Enquired about disabled parking and was told the hotel had 2 spaces wanted to book one for my stay and was put off because access wasn't easy.Was assured I would be able to park easily on road with disabled badge.Not true.Ended up parking in Ncp carpark as disabled spaces booked by others. Cost us £20 all because we were deterred from booking by hotel staff. Very disappointing.

We liked the friendly welcome, lovely clean rooms and the location.

The hotel was very modern with nice bar and seating area.The bedroom was extremely comfortable and very modern. Loved the bathroom and facilities. Very impressed with the iron and board not something you get very often but very often needed.The bar prices were really reasonable for a tourist city centre hotel. Have Already recommended this hotel to friends.It was the nicest hotel we've stayed in in York and the best price.

Although the breakfast was adequate would have enjoyed fried eggs. Was not happy that there was nowhere to place tray whilst trying to juggle with making toast dispensing coffee and dishing food onto plates. The food area was a bit hazardous as people were cutting each other up all over the place. I wouldn't like to see an elderly person trying to get their breakfast as I think they would really struggle.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and fresh.
