Everything was great. Wonderful friendly host. Evelyn goes out of her way to please. Loved the house with all the nice little touches & great breakfasts. Very clean & lovely decor. Great value for money.
Couldn't fault a thing.
stairs & poor signage outside on a busy road with blind corners.
The fact that they charge for breakfast, it's a bed and breakfast so I think it should be included and not £10 per person!! as for the price over priced
Cosy and quaint it was ideal .We booked 3 rooms and all were large in size and comfortable. Would come again.
Evelyn the owner and her friendliness. This B&B was a nice change to some of the sterile hotels I've stayed at. Nice walk down into lower largo where the beach and harbour are stunnung and there are good pub/restaurant options.Would definately stay here again when back in scotland.
traffic noise was a bit of an issue as my room, No. 3, which was very nice but facing the busy road. A few more drinks the night before and earplugs would have fixed it!
We stayed at family room and this is really good choice if you travel with car and 2-3 children. Parents bedroom is on ground floor and children's premises and bathroom - in attics. Everything is clean and tidy. From HH you can have nice walk towards port and old abandoned railway bridge location, which has really impressive views.
There is table top with built in sink in lobby area, as well as tea pot, but no any plates, paper towels, and other utensils. Since this family room looks like apartment, not a hotel room, it would be nice to have these things, since for family it would be nice to have some small breakfasts prepared by themselves.
Friendly welcome and great service during our stay. Great breakfast with plenty choice. Would stay again.
A wonderful welcome, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit, wished we could have stayed longer
Local eateries very limited, make sure you book in advance.
Excellent communication on booking. Warm welcome.
Fast road to pull out onto in car (I already knew this).
Very clean and well presented. Spacious and good quality fittings. Upstairs room not affected by the road noise so the children didn't notice it.
The down stairs room was a little noisy due to the road and whilst it wasn't that busy, the entrance opening to the drive just amplified what noise there was, but I am a country boy (ex city boy) so this may not be an issue for others! Would have liked the kitchen to have had more than a toaster and kettle.
Evelyn the hostess was very welcoming and our upstairs rooms were very comfortable with an area between we could use for shared drinks. Decor throughout was lovely and garden proved sunny and relaxing after days of golf at courses from St Andrews to Edinborough. Stayed for 8 nights and would definitely stay again if in the area.
We travelled a fair bit that day and I was working from 6am so when we got to Hampton house I was ready for sleep! The beds were so comfy I'd had the best nights sleep In a long time- just gutted it was only for a flying visit
Warm friendly welcome and every effort made to help with queries. Clean comfortable room and good night's sleep in total quietness.
Breakfast not included with Booking.com rates.
Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Great location. Owner very attentive.
Breakfast not included when booked via booking.com
Owner was very friendly and advised us well. We had the appartment with one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. It was big enough for 4 people, the wifi was great, the Pub (10 min walk) also.
The house is in the corner of a busy road, we passed it five times before we did see it. The road is a little noisy. The appartment has a kitchen with almost nothing in it so it is of no use. Strange;-)
We stayed in the Apartment. It has 3 single beds upstairs& lovely double room downstairs. Small kitchen/ living space. Lovely breakfast which is extra but worth it. Evelyn is the perfect host friendly, efficient& seems to know what guests need. Apartment has steep stairs up to upstairs, but my girls 6&4 didn't find these any problem. Bathroom is upstairs but that again was fine for us. Very comfy beds &has lovely 'feel' about it. About 10 miles from St Andrews. Lundin links itself has lovely beach area, more for exploring I would say than sunbathing, but it's ideal spot to travel around.
Being very picky as we loved the apartment but there's no table to eat at if you wanted to self cater. Stairs are very steep if you were older. Not really a fault as we didn't have problem with any of these things.
We stayed at the hamptons B&B as we were going to a wedding in Lundin Links. The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and really homely. Evelyn could not haves been more welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic! Really recommend a stay here if you're looking for accommodationin the area
Very clean and cozy. Very nice host.
Steep stairs to the upper bedroom.
Just a big inconvenient that payment is cash only as there is no cashpoint nearby
We stayed on Saturday 28th June to go a relatives wedding. As the wedding was at 3pm we requested early check in at midday through booking.com, this was accommodated with out fuss. The family apartment was clean spacious and very homely, it even had a small neat kitchen area.
The kitchen could have had more crockery and even a toaster as breakfast is not automatically included
Privacy was very good and the room was very comfortable
It was not possible to pay by credit card and I had trouble getting cash to pay.
Location was excellent, the price very competitive.excellent family room whic is actually a small 2 bedroom house.
Not having a microwave and a bit more of kitchen appliances, since most of people will book the family room in ordem to have more flexibility with small children
A beautiful B&B with a lovely proprietress, everything was perfect from the sound of the bubbling river to the orange juice left in our room on a hottish day.
It was a bit hard to spot the signpost on the road at first.
This was the best B & B on our whole trip. The hostess was far and away the friendliest person we dealt with in Scotland. She could not do enough for my son and I as we played our way through Scotland. This establishment has a high rating for a reason and if you stay there you will know the reason why.
Excellent B&B, very comfortable and clean. great breakfast... enjoyed our stay.
