No tissues in the bathroom; the ridiculous pleading and wait to be served dinner. Will recommed to get meals elsewhere.

No bathtub, no fridge and no microwave.

Convenient location for me. Good size room and bathroom. Clean and spacious.

Breakfast was very crowded - not easy to find a seat. Quite a lot of noise late at night.

Convenient for Canal etc. Very clean. Breakfast very relaxing and plentiful. Good bed and good bedding. Good towels and good shower.

Street entrance could do with a LARGE attractive sign that stands out high above and across the pavement so that it can be seen as you walk towards the hotel.I think this make SUCH an improvement to the entrance to your hotel.

I did like the room and it's style. And bed! Also the reception hall and breakfast room was modern but nice and it was ok to eat something in the evening also. There were big tv- screens and sofas also. I liked the shower. And it was only 5 pounds to take taxi to the New street station. The service was very friendly!

The hotel was much further than I thought and all the way there was a bit "mixed one", so we got lost when we arrived by feet. But anyway taxi wasn't expensive to go back to the station. There were no photo about the hotel from outside in Booking sites, so you hardly could noticed the door. It's really high building.

Too hot in the room - control didn't go below 16 degrees. The walls in the room were a little grubby

I decided to take a spur of the moment shopping trip to Birmingham over the weekend an so booked Into this hotel. I was a solo traveller and felt more than welcome by all members off staff. I stayed in the bar where met other people staying over and had a wonderful evening. The hotel was clean and pleasant, the staff inviting and it wasn't too far from the shops. I will definitely be staying here again and would reccomend it to anyone.

Fast efficient check in despite being busy. Surprisingly quiet. Good breakfast included. Great location.

Bit confusing when we first arrived with the reception on the third floor, just a painter in the lobby!

Loved location, great for nia, Restaurants and beautiful canal walk only a 5 min walk away, hotel spotless, friendly staff and deco was very fresh and up to date.

Maybe because I did not read it, but was not expecting parking charge.

Lift service was awful! And the reception / lift area was always crowded.

Although the bathroom was beautifully presented, the shower was useless. The tray filled up within a few minutes and the shower then had to be turned off or the tray would have overflowed. The tray itself was like a trampoline. This was all rather a shame as the attention to detail elsewhere was good, particularly for a budget hotel. Bar service late evening was poor. Seating area for breakfast was inadequate. Lift access from ground floor and to upper floors was terrible. We waited ages and then could not get in as it was full.

Scrammbeled eggs were awful but for the price I paid it wouldn't put me of going again!

Arrived at night - spent 10 mins trying to power lights - this should be explained at reception.

the hotel was excellent nice and clean and nicely centred in the city

the lifts are not brilliant if it is very busy you could spend half your time in the lift because you can keep on going up and down, and I would say the breakfast is good but not much veriaty there is only scrambled egg no fried egg and no tomatoe the susages were nicely done

The room was excellent and the shower in the bathroom was great. For the price we paid for 2 nights was so good that we presumed that it didn't include breakfast, then on arrival at reception we were told that breakfast was included we just presumed it would be continental but were really surprised how good it was

Only 2 lifts in the hotel which meant quite a wait for 1 of them in the mornings.

lack of lifts for size of hotel. Was located on 11th floor and waited long time each time for lift. Silly swipe access to floor with room card too! Especially if lift busy Struggled ti obtain seat for breakfast

Location, nice large rooms.

The wooden bed base, really dangerous. Cought my knee three times on the edge of the bed, have a nasty bruise and lump on my knee. Had to put pillows around the edge.
