Very Comfortable bed Excellent location Parking Very good value
A bit cold when we arrived No heating in bathroom
It was just a five minute walk into Stratford centre
We were welcomed by the owner and shown to our large (room 2) double room. First impressions were very pleasant, a professional had obviously designed the room and thought of everything that a traveller would require. Because it is only bed and no breakfast, the price was considerably cheaper than the equivalent guest houses. This was not a problem because there is small fridge in the room for yoghurts, etc., and plenty of eating places close by if you need a cooked breakfast. The array of coffees, teas etc., was more than adequate and the nice touch of biscuits and chocolate mints was thoughtful. There was nothing we required – even the extension lead with multi sockets was provided for recharging mobiles, etc. The bed was large and comfortable and we certainly slept well. The ensuite bathroom, although cosy, was more than adequate and the shower and hot water very good. The towels were wonderfully large. The only observations which we are only mentioning as an comment and possibly fine tuning are the television could go on the wall opposite the bed for easier viewing, leaving more space on the table which could do with a couple of stools for breakfast and the table area in the bay window is rather dark when the curtains are closed for working. But the leather armchair was so comfortable we fought each other for it! All in all, a great place to stay for one night or more and it is certainly in a good location for seeing Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding area.
Room extremely clean, bed super comfortable, location excellent. Michael the owner (very helpful) greeted us showed us to our room and explained some of the local attractions on a map which was spot on. This is the best room we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.
Near town Friendly Clean Good value Ample parking
Bed very comfy. Owner very friendly without being intrusive. Free wi fi although I didn't use this. Good location; 5 mins walk to RSC. Lots of tea bags/ coffee in room. Nice toiletries provided.
The only minor point was the shower temp was a bit temperamental; but it didn't affect our stay.
Great room with comfortable beds Lots of parking and good wifi Friendly owner. Everything you need for a straightforward guesthouse.
Everything about the stay was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable and the gentleman who we dealt with couldn't have been more obliging
Friendly owner, spotlessly clean room & very convenient location.
Short walk to RSC, warm welcome from the host Michael, comfy bed
Location was good and bed was very comfortable. All in all it is a great place to stay.
The shower was a bit hit and miss but it didn't impact on our stay.
I like the room everything!!Cant wait to visit Stratford again and stay there again my friends loved the place kept telling other friends how nice it was.
Clean Great location Helpful staff Room had bottles of water
Shower facilities was poor. Shower head trickled out water
Truly excellent guest house, second to none couldn't find a fault
Clean and comfortable with a very friendly welcome. Best thing about our stay In Stratford Upon Avon was the accommodation.
Nothing about the accommodation it was superb.
Quality fixtures & fittings, location to town, good value for money, Car Parking, Wifi, extras such as hairdryer, hand & body wash, iron, free water & tea tray all restocked daily
We went as a young couple to enjoy stratford itself - Hampton lodge is a really easy walk to the centre and super close to the royal Shakespeare theatre. Would definitely recommend
The hotel is so close to the town, only a 5/10 minute walk from everything which was great because we can't drive. The man that greeted us was lovely and so helpful and answered all of our questions. Room comes with free bottles of water, fridge and tea and coffee facilities which were restocked daily. Comfiest bed I have ever slept in! Cleanliness was 10/10, couldn't find anything wrong. Would definitely go back.
The only down point was about the shower, it wasn't powerful enough for me having long hair but it was still usable.
ground floor room
Very good location, only a short walk to the centre of town.Room was nicely furnished and very clean.
Hampton lodge excellent Near to town. Plenty to see and do. Lots of places to eat People friendly.
Hampton Lodge was very clean, very comfortable and the owner was helpful and friendly.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Comfortable and quiet room. Will return
We enjoyed eveything about our stay at Hampton Lodge. It was so easy to book and Michael was waiting to greet us upon our arrival. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. All facilities were at hand. As described on the Guest house information, it was within easy reach of all the local attractions. We parked up for the week-end and walked easily to them. A lovely stay,in a clean, fresh and well situated accomodation. It takes about 5 minutes to walk steadily to the town where there are so many eating places so not having breakfast provided was no problem and nice not to rush in the morning. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to return to you and beautiful Strattford-Upon Avon.
There was nothing not to like !!!!!
After backpacking for four months my friend and I saw the awesome deal at Hampton lodge! We were so happy when we arrived to be welcomed by the friendly Michael who showed us to our room straight away! It was everything we wished for! After staying in hostels and bunk beds for 4 months Hampton lodge was perfect for us! We had just a small room with a double bed and ensuite and it was amazing! The beds are so so comfortable! I highly recommend Hampton lodge! Thank you so much for making us feel so at home!
Everything was perfect!!! :)
