The staff are so nice and friendly. The price we paid was a bit too much, but it was during the commonwealth games, would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was good too. Nice and central to everything. Keep up the good work guys...and hope to see you all again soon :-)
staff very helpful on directions, buses etc. breakfast very good
stairs on top of stairs - too many for me, perhaps they should ask when you book if you have a problem with them.
Prices sky high for the Commonwealth games so was lucky to find this one which was not a Rip _off.Friendly family guest house.Good breakfast
Bit of a walk to the central station
Got a good quiet night's sleep and near centre, though uphill
breakfast room pretty cramped
Guess house was good friendly staff. breakfast good and clean dinning. Would stay there again
Little pricy for guest house but given com games ok.
Great break fast really enjoyed the service,
Centrally located, Cambridge St. car park near, good breakfast, big family room, friendly staff
Very friendly helpful staff, that went out of their way to please and accodate me. Breakfast was also very good.
Not having en suite bathroom and sharing down the hall. Location of room first night at below ground level.
The shower was quite good, despite the tiny cabin.
No shutter in the windows. In mid July, full Scotish summer, with the sun rising before 5 am, it is nearly impossible not to wake up. Uncomfortable matresses. Double bed too small. A torment to sleep, especially for my 6-ft tall husband. Low quality linen. No upper sheet provided to cover up, only duvets. Aged, darkened towels. Two of them were dirty, with stains. Really disgusting! They were immediately changed, but without giving much importance to the fact. In the breakfast room, the white cups had dark stains of tea inside, showing that they had not been properly cleaned. No offer of fresh fruits for breakfast, only canned fruit.
Great breakfast Pleasant helpful staff
not en suite. a lot of stairs to the top!
Staff excellent. Good location
Very worn out tatty accommodation had to pay a huge price for this cheap un cheerful place. Went for the Commonwealth games - and £200 had been added to the usual price. Of course you expect to have the price increased when a major event is being held in a city, but £280 for staying in this place don't quite know how they had the nerve - had no choice there were no other rooms under £600 available in the city for that night we had to stay. In my opinion the usual rate is too high for the quality of accommodation provided. But staff were very good.
Breakfast has a narrow range of items. Would like to see continental style as well as Scottish traditional breakfast.
Friendly welcome and happy to help.
Convenience and helpfulness of staff. We were very fortunate to get such good accommodation at such a busy time in Glasgow.
I have nothing negative to add.
Location is perfect - walking distance for all city centre attractions and in the heart of the creative hub of Glasgow. Lovely staff - family run business, friendly and helpful. Really good price for bed and breakfast
The breakfast could do with a few extras - black pudding or haggis maybe Room size was small, but that's fine if you're going to be out and about most of the time, and can't complain given the price Could do with larger, thicker and more plentiful supply of towels.
Good location, close to bars and restaurants but on a quiet side street. No frills and certainly nothing special, but it's a good bargain compared to other places. I didn't try the breakfast.
No window and not great ventilation. This wasn't a showstopper for me for one night though. For non-brits, be aware about getting charged in your home currency. I didn't ask for this, yet a 3.5% surcharge was applied to my bill, beyond what was quoted by booking.com to charge me in dollars. That's actually a good deal compared to what most credit cards charge you for processing foreign currency. However, I travel a lot so I have a card w/ zero foreign transaction fees, which I pay an annual fee for, so I was not too happy to be taken by surprise on this. From what I understood this is a new system for them, but I hope they understood from my complaint that they need to be clear about offering this option and not apply it automatically. We managed to clear it up, but it was a bit of a hassle.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Beds old and not too comfy.
very accommodating to our special dietary needs for the breakfast; very friendly staff
there were some scented plug-ins used in the hall ways that were overpowering for me.
Room in attic very small bed very hard.bathroom not quite clean enough
Very good location (less than 15 min of walking from the Queen train station and Central train station and the Bus station), 2 minutes of walk from Sauchiehall street and the mall. Breakfast included is fine (toast, egg, sausage, bacon, etc). Wi-fi is good.
Very thin curtain that would let pass a lot of light early in the morning. Showers doesn't seem to be wash everyday (but not too dirty either)
Extremely close to the major nightclubs so was great convenience but not close enough to hear them so sleeping was not affected. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Friendly and helpful staff
Noise from other rooms
Very central but still very quiet even though it was a Saturday night I was staying. Good breakfast and overall good value for money - clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing. No complaints at all.
Room was clean bed comfy, staff friendly .
A bit cramped in the room, no window-just a small roof light. Would have liked a better selection of shampoo/ shower gel.
Good location and price, friendly staff, secure.
Room had closed ceiling sun roof for natural light, but lacked windows for air. Breakfast was adequate, but could be improved by substituting fresh mushrooms instead of canned.
