Location could not be better - super central, with all shops and restaurant around and a minute away from the underground Great flat with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, big kitchen with all necessary appliance
Having to collect they keys in a complete different location in London, not being able to leave our luggage there on the day of checkout. Although the place feel like it has been refurbished not too long ago, it is already feeling tired (light fitting broken, bulbs not working, bathroom tiles and painting chipping). Could do with a little bit of TLC to be excellent
Location to centre of London. Shops, supermarkets, cafés, attractions all nearby. Very big apartment. Clean. Kitchen facilities great. Large living area. Friendly maintenance guy, but not all problems could be solved.
No hearing for 2 days until repaired. Not so good in Winter! Problem with bath plug. TV couldn't get fixed. Lucky there was a 2nd one in main bedroom.
On the doorstep of most theatres
The flight of stairs to the apartment
Good localization, confortable house.
We had to go get the key 30 min away by taxi which was quite expensive, we had about 80 stairs to climb , very narrow stairs dificult with luggage.
The central Covent Garden location was so perfect for everything! The apartment was bright and airy with good kitchen facilities if needed but we made full use of London's fab restaurants
A nuisance having to either collect the key from North London or pay £35 for delivery. The TV didn't work, the bath tap leaked and flooded the floor everytime we tried to use it. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor which was 40 steps and the whole staircase was being decorated while we were there so very difficult avoiding the wet paint whilst going up and down! It was obvious that the apartments had been put together as cheaply as possible which is a shame.
Location was perfect! Don't have to go back to the office to check out Some maintenance issues but nothing there that would affect the quality of your stay
Windy stairwell up to the apartment slightly claustrophobic
Location was excellent.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very thin soft mattress. Be aware there are over 50 steps upto apartment no 2, quite hard work for someone with arthritis in their knees. The hot water didn't last long enough for 4 people to shower/bath.
I loved the apartment and loved the location. Close to Covent Garden tube station. Next to M&S for food. Clean with everything you need. Will book again.
The mattress not good in the double room we rolled off each side. Just have to replace it with maybe a memory foam mattress, they are not that expensive and you would have top marks from me
Location, location, location! Clean Excellent facilities in Kitchen
Access to bathroom through one of bedrooms - Ok for a couple and group of close friends but those midnight toilet visits awkward! Collecting keys from elsewhere a little pain but easy to find and quick and efficient. - possible to pay extra for meeting at apartment.
Location, space in flat, cleanliness
A little more equipment in kitchen would have been good e.g. Cafetiere
Location. Apartment was spacious for two people, but gets hot in summer. No A/C.
Apartments 2 is on the top floor; 62 steps up a narrow stairway. Building is clad with scaffolding & builders. Venetian blinds are broken so privacy compromised. Light globes dim or blown. Washer, but nowhere to dry clothes; ironing board has no cover. Fire door in stairwell was propped open with fire extinguisher. Needs a coffee plunger & more water glasses & apartment basics like salt and pepper and toilet paper.
Location was fantastic. Quite quiet at night too with ability to close extra glazing panels. For the price and the location it was brilliant.
I know from previous reviews from back over 3 months ago that there was a hole in the bathroom wall and a wobbly loo seat. There still is in October! There are no cooking utensils should you be thinking of whipping up bacon and egg in the morning! The blind in the bathroom is not held on to the wall very well.
The view was absolutely incredible from the 15th floor and the room is quite spacious.
The process of getting the key from a different location almost two miles away is a farce when there's a security desk downstairs; There is a complicated Wi-Fi sign-up process during which you have to submit a lot of personal data; The walls in the room were covered in scuff marks; The toilet-roll and soap-dish holder in the bathroom fell off when I touched them; The pass-door key expired at 6pm which meant on my return at 9:30pm after work I had to go to a student halls of resident and wait 10 minutes for a new pass-key (so why couldn't I get the original key from there)?; Just a terrible experience: BUT, so easy to fix - I hope they do! Not worth saving the extra £40/£50 for a truly decent (apart-)hotel.
+ Covent Garden is a lovely neighbourhood + Apartment is quite spacious
- When I booked there was no warning that you have to pick up the key somewhere else in Londen. (Apparently it was at the end of the confirmation -so after booking- if you scroll all the way down. So very unclear!) As we were on a 2 day business trip it was a very inconvenient waste of time. - Apartment had very low ceiling - Apartment was dirty (lots of dust and 'sticky' in general) - Beds did not sleep well (spirals)
Location Large living area & kitchen
No lift, steep narrow stairs, general cleanliness not good One of the doubles is in the main living area Upper windows locked
The best thing about this apartment was its location. I liked the fact that there were two bathrooms.
The stairs!! Picking up the key from another location was a pain! Air conditioning would have been nice. The property was surrounded by scaffolding (and therefore workmen) during our stay.
Location is fantastic , round the corner from Covent Garden station Everything in walking distance Good space for 2 couples or family Supermarket across the road Leicester Square a 5 minute walk
Picking up key from different location was difficult as you had to cart luggage and it was not in walking distance Not advised renovations were not complete, could not open blinds and windows for noise Not advertised it has 50 steps to access apartment No welcome pack on arrival Lighting in bathrooms was poor
Location and facilities
Stairs leading to the apartment
the décor, comfy bed, good location
workmen on Monday morning long walk up the stairs
location was amazing - size of apartment - was huge - well equipped - home away from home
a bit noisy as restaurant below - but not a real bother
Very well located and also near a metro station.
Great location, enough space for 5, comfortable and practical
A bit of a hassel to get the keys
Good location, close to shoppingstreets, close to restaurants
No elevator No hand towel Only 1 shower towel each person for use in 5 days Poor final cleanout before handover Vomiting and trash in stairways Windows had no childsecuring No A/C Worn and no sign of refurbished apartment which was explained on internett
The location was great very close to everything and great Starbucks very close. Having a washing machine was fantastic and bed was very comfortable.
No cooking utensils so we couldn't prepare our own meals, and lack of knives and forks if we could.
The location was wonderful, walking distance to all the restaurants & entertainment in Covent Garden. The beds were comfortable, although they lacked mattress covers. We put the duvet under the bottom sheet & were warm enough with just a sheet on top.
The stairs! We were on the 4th floor, no lift, & dragging suitcases up & down was miserable, especially after having to check-in & collect the keys at a different location. The lighting in the bathroom was dismal. The futon cover & throw pillows all need to be cleaned.
