Novotel Cardiff Centre  

Very good and nice hotel! All the staff very friendly and very helpful Location is Very close to centre and Cardiff bay,and the best thing is In hotel have a very nice gym place and swimming poor,is very happy To stay in this hotel!!

Modern facilities

Terribly noisey,with doors slamming heavily until 3.00am.Did complain to receptionist in the morning about it plus a rather smelly bathroom.It was brushed aside and we were,nt charged for using the radio which cost 99p as a form of compensation.WOW! We had deliberately used this hotel to get away form the stag and hen parties warned about in other hotels nearer the city centre.Be warned this hotel is not on a local bus route ,so it,s expensive taxi,s everywhere. One other other warning drinking at the Novotel is an game expensive ,four drinks saw £20 a time disappear.

Clean tidy modern, polite staff easy access to town and the bay.

Sweeky or cruching automatice sliding doors as you enter the hotel. Nee attention by maintenace staff.

Its a convenient location for my business needs.

The breakfast is expensive if not bought in advance. If it was cheaper, more people would use it.

Immaculate room, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable place to stay.

Loved the actual building-a mixture of Victorian warehouse and very modern. Food in the bar excellent value and delicious,available until 11pm. Fantastic choice of breakfast including fresh fruit,pouring yoghurt,warm mini-pastries,as well as full English/Welsh! The pool was great,facilities spotless. Can't praise the hotel enough!

I loved the swimming pool and spa facilities. I chose it for this reason. I normally have to travel on a more limited budget, staying in b&bs, but with the discount, the difference in price wasn't so great and it was lovely to have this extra bit of luxury.

Everything was fantastic, the only thing which would have been the absolute icing on the cake would have been if breakfast could have been included in the price. However, it did seem to be slightly discounted and I was lucky as I got put in a very nice room.

The staff were friendly and it was handy that there was parking available as we had driven a few hours, it was well presented, clean and had various facilities available.

Unfortunately everthing was great apart from the actual comfort, it was very uncomfortable and ended up not having a very good nights sleep.

Nice friendly hotel, comfiest bed I've ever slept in, staff were great, breakfast was lovely and cocktails at the bar were good too ;)

We only liked the location

This is the hotel which had good rating in many websites but our experience was very bad. The hotel except reception nothing was comfortable and as soon as we enter we dont feel comfortable starting from door there is a problem hair on the pillows and cushions the carpet was very dirty and bathroom door lock was hard and no basic toiletries provided. This hotel needs lot of improvement didnt go to the poolside so cant comment on this. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is centered between the two major attraction city center and marmied quay Is very well managed and clean with helpfully staff children friendly ( swimming pool has good time rang for them , pc and ex pox give them more fun and things to do) Cram and mintain Breakfast is fine over priced a bit for the selection
