The price ! Stayed here for the weekend on a deal break and for the Price we paid it was worth the money. Good breakfast and a lovely pool. However, if I had paid the higher price for this double room I would not have been Happy. The bed reminded me of a foldaway bed! You couldn't move a muscle in the Night as it squeaked and creaked with every movement (no good for a honeymoon couple)! Bathroom could also do with a makeover. Also, bar prices are way to high. We didnt try the bar as we had been warned by other guests even the cab driver told us. They should think about lowering them to keep customers in the hotel. But I would stay again if the price was right.

The staff were friendly, the bedroom was very clean and the toiletries were a nice touch. The bed was enourmous and very very comfortable. All in all a very nice place to stay

The Fuel restaurant was very pleasant. There was a wide variety of food but the staff in the restaurant struggled to keep up with the demand. They were slow to top up the food and the tables were slow to be cleared.

Very friendly and helpfull staff at the receptiondesk. Very nice room of moderate size. Excellent bed and bathroom.Cleaning of the room excellent. Breakfast buffet very good. Parking facilities very good. Hotel has been updated with respect to beautiful details from the past. Love that! Even though a big wedding party was taking place at the hotel, from about 1 o'çlock A.M. all was quiet.

It was overall quite warm in the hotel (breakfast-restaurant) which was a little bit too much for me. With windows open temperature in the room was okay (Feb!) otherwise too warm. Noise from the hallway: an extra door in between actual room and room's hallway would be a solution. We stayed in a room with a view on the road. Beacause we had to keep windows opened (too hot in the room), traffic noises came into the room.

Lovely large lobby area nicely decorated for Xmas swimming pool area looked nice although we didn't get a chance to use it.

Some of the staff appeared a little grumpy if asked for anything although they always obliged. We were staying in a group - three rooms in total and we all found the beds extremely hard. We only ate breakfast in the hotel standard buffet fare good selection but not especially nice.

The staff were abs rubbish. Laughably rubbish. Bar staff didn't know what basic drinks were (a pint of bitter - we've got Carlsberg or some other lager), I had ask for sugar then ask for a spoon for my coffee. Restaurant staff were worse - the waitress didn't know what time the restaurant opened (!), she didn't know what was in any of the dishes (seafood medley) they couldn't tell the difference between mushrooms and goats cheese tart when delivering the food to us and brought the wrong wine. If I am paying top dollar for food and drinks I want the service to be top dollar too. The actual food was v good.

Yes its the fourth time we have stayed here everything was o/k, but the service in the breakfast resturant was terrible we had to wait for coffe tea and bacon sausage for 20 mins

Most helpful and pleasant staff, especially Helen, who was most patient in guiding us when we got lost in the dark on our way there.

We enjoyed the relaxing peaceful short time spent at this hotel and the evening bar-meal was very good. I made use of the exerlent leisure pool facilities. This our third stay at a Barcelo' hotel and we now seek to favour them. Thank-You.

Breakfast was good and staff were very pleasnt
