Service. Bar staff in particular were poor. Drink offered with meals, no bread with soup, no cutlery with meal served, no condiments served...... Basic stuff that is frustrating to have to ask 3 or 4 times in one meal. No staelite tv. Not made clear until you get to room. Stuck with 5 basic fuzzy channels for 2 nights.Checked out a day early.

Thought the pillows in the rooms were a bit poor, they seemed old?

Lovely large lobby area nicely decorated for Xmas swimming pool area looked nice although we didn't get a chance to use it.

Some of the staff appeared a little grumpy if asked for anything although they always obliged. We were staying in a group - three rooms in total and we all found the beds extremely hard. We only ate breakfast in the hotel standard buffet fare good selection but not especially nice.

The staff were abs rubbish. Laughably rubbish. Bar staff didn't know what basic drinks were (a pint of bitter - we've got Carlsberg or some other lager), I had ask for sugar then ask for a spoon for my coffee. Restaurant staff were worse - the waitress didn't know what time the restaurant opened (!), she didn't know what was in any of the dishes (seafood medley) they couldn't tell the difference between mushrooms and goats cheese tart when delivering the food to us and brought the wrong wine. If I am paying top dollar for food and drinks I want the service to be top dollar too. The actual food was v good.

Yes its the fourth time we have stayed here everything was o/k, but the service in the breakfast resturant was terrible we had to wait for coffe tea and bacon sausage for 20 mins

Most helpful and pleasant staff, especially Helen, who was most patient in guiding us when we got lost in the dark on our way there.

No safe in the room

We enjoyed the relaxing peaceful short time spent at this hotel and the evening bar-meal was very good. I made use of the exerlent leisure pool facilities. This our third stay at a Barcelo' hotel and we now seek to favour them. Thank-You.

Clean, comfortable. good chack in and out.

food in reastaurant a bit on the expensive side for what it is. not the quietest of hotels in the evening that i have stayed at-wedding guests i think.

Good Reception staff - noticed that my mother needed assistance walking and without commenting on this they changed her rooom to a disabled one near to our room with more room for her walker. Lovely swimming pool. Good breakfast choices

Although the restaurant itself lacked atmosphere and menu quite limited, each dish was presented with very real imagination and flair. The roast belly of pork with black pudding was Michelin star territory....simply outstanding.
