I found the staff to be so friendly and accomodating, I stay away a lot for business and all too often hotel staff are a let down, however every member of staff I met at Reading were the same smiling chatty and just lovely. |

the hotel is in a very quiet location, and was very quiet when i was here maybe because it was half term! very few people here, the lake view i has was brilliant even got to watch large pike in the water eating smaller prey without a sat nav it could be hard to find in the dark. my daughter came for dinner and had difficulty finding hotel, signs are there once you have made 2 turns away from the motorway, |

Difficult to find but worth the effort, good rooms overlooking the lake. I had a kingfisher on my balcony most mornings. The fitness room is delapidated and the machines all needed a good service. |

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is stunning. The bathroom was not as clean as I would expect for a hotel of this standard. When I ordered room service the man who answered the phone gave the very distinct impression that I was putting him out. I gathered this by the fact that when I said "can I please order some room service" he sighed (audibly) said "right, wait a minute" before leaving the phone for a minute then returning and saying "yes, what is it that you want?" |

The Hotel is very good and clean, and the staff very helpful - the balconies overlooking the lakes are a real bonus although they are in need of a paint. |

Comfortable, clean, excellent value for money. Very difficult to find. Would it be possible to signpost it from the A33? Worth finding though. |

The rooms were really well sized - the bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful and stayed hot which seems quite rare for some hotels. The views were beautiful in the morning and it was really lovely to wake up and feed the ducks swimming infront of my balcony. I found the night members of staff to be quite unfriendly and almost rude. A hair was found in my meal and I was offered no apology which was a bit disappointing. |

The staff were polite and corteous. The room was fantastic with the balcony right over the lake, a spacious, compfy bed and a good selection of pay to view movies available, as well as channels 1-5, sky news and sport. |
