The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent and not too expensive (£20 for 3 course meal). It was great to sit overlooking the canal while we ate. We had a canal facing room which was very quiet. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. We will definately try to return (if someone will have the kids!!)

The suite we had booked, although more expensive, was super. The corridors were extremely hot and played the usual christmas tunes up to the new year. The cleaners were first rate and the staff were very helpful. With the use of the leisure facilities, a very good hotel. It would be bettre if they could ive a price including breakfast although thereis a very good restaurant nearby. Overall a very comfy stay in a good location with very good staff. Hot corridors and a high price for meals. Well above all local places.

Room spacious and very nice. Staff very friendly and efficient. Pool area very pleasant. Xmas dinner over priced for what we received. Very disappointing. Steps out of deep end of pool impossible - require at least one more step.

I stay at the Rendevous on a regular basis, due to Business travel. I can honestly say, I have enjoyed, relaxed, had fantastic hospitality, and never once had any complaint regards my stays.. The staff, are 2nd to none, the food is lovely, the rooms extremely comfortable, and they always make you very welcome on arrival. I intend to always stay at the Rendevous. Thank you all. A Very Merry Christmas to Everyone.

Clean and comfortable, although £115 for a twin room was a little pricey for one night. Only booked here because we attended a party at the hotel so the convenience made up for the price of the room. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a good location with plenty of parking.

large room, decent leisure facilities, friendly receptionist on checkout for what i paid, was not good value for money - paid £95 & this didnt include breakfast. Room was advertised as a junior suite, but was basically a large double. Rooms are looking very old & tired (i would date them late 1980's) as are the public areas. All in all, this hotel needs some significant investment to bring it up to scratch.

Friendly, clean adn convenient for my visit to Skipton. I didn't much care for the piped music in the corridors which was easily heard from my room. Especially when played at 8.30am on a sunday morning. Pehalps a bit on the pricey side

The hotel was central and easy to find. We enjoyed the breakfast especially eating in the room adjoining the main restaurant where we had a super view of the canal and all its wildlife.

The receptionist was very abrupt and unwelcoming. The whole hotel looked shabby and as if in need of a good clean. There was a wedding party and disco on - it would have been better if we had at least been warned about this, and told what time the disco would finish. Overall, not a good experience.

Lovely view from back of hotel over dales and canal. Room size good - worth paying for canal side room. Skipton lovely town. Bathroom grouting grubby, not too clean at all under sink. Taps didn't work properly. Shower awful, no power, more like an old fashioned tap mixer. Corridors of hotel incredibly hot. Pool is much smaller than it appears in pictures and on web site and is open to non-guests. One-to- one swimming lessons for kids (not guests) on Saturday morning meant no room for guests to swim. Changing rooms not clean and certainly not 'luxury'. Restaurant is quite pricey but very lacking in atmosphere. Tables in conservatory are the only ones you'd want but we were told booking was not allowed (!) Then we weren't given one of the 4 free tables by the windows because they were somehow 'booked' for later. I complained and we were given one. No other diners arrived for them. Odd! Seems they like to keep them empty. Hotel is a long walk along main road into town not the stroll they indicate.

Suitable location and proximity to venue for wedding I was attending. Disapointed that there is no provision for single guests who have to pay the full room rate, and also no single rooms available.

The family rooms were great. The pool was lovely. The location was great right on the canal. We were offered the breakfast for an extra £5 which was good value for money and we ate in the conservatory which overlooked the canal.

Proximity to town centre ,canal walk, variety of tourist attractions in the area, pleasant bar area (outside patio), Frosted windows on 2nd floor room requested to change the room reception staff were very obliging, no facilities for drying/hanging wet towels in the bathroom to help with the enviromental policy. No information when making the booking of the choice between noisy road facing rooms or quiet canal facing rooms .

“A relaxing retreat in winter with blazing log fires. All staff very friendly yet absolutely professional. Comfortable rooms, varied and interesting menu with emphasis on game from the estate.
