SPA BAR & rooms all fine

The tennis courts were of a poor standard The food provided on Saturday evening was of a lamentable quality ..lukewarm food on cold plates, food burned, rubbish..we would have done better at any local pub

the staff were very friendly- help with special requests. Delicious food and ambience

Dogs staying in the hotel. I was woken up at 6am with a dog barking in the room next door which continued until I left at 9am. Hotel rom were looking tired.

We stayed at the Park Royal as my daughter was married at a nearby venue and the staff couldn't have been more friendly as we had a late check in The breakfast was superb and the staff ensured that all the members of our party were able to sit together for breakfast.

On arrival we received a warm and very friendly welcome. In fact, all the staff were very helpful. The family room was fabulous. I didn't get to try out the spa but the swimming pool was lovely and warm especially for children. The gym was a great size with up to date equipment. A really great hotel and would definitely stay again

Only a minor fault, the changing rooms were cold so had rush to get warm

No separate bedside radio facility. The TV radio facility lights up the room. Duvettoo heavy. Common problem in hotels.

We were in room 354 and the corridor had a horrendous smell - luckily this did not filter through to our room.

Just home from a few days in the Park Royal. Perfectly situated between Manchester and Liverpool making both cities very accessible. Food really lovely and staff couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend this hotel. The surrounding area is really nice too.

There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like.

Food was fab and the bar staff were very friendly. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Would stay again.

Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. My wife and I used the swimming Pool, Spa and steam room. The hotel is very clean and so was our room. Would stay at this hotel again if in the area.

Location was excellent for the activity we wished to pursue. Staff friendly and food available when we wanted it. Breakfast was included in price.

Bedroom warmer than we would have wished. Fan useful but a little noisy.

Management appeared evasive. Reported the heating system too high didn't match the outside temp. We were not fully assured of any action taken and it took all week and several complaints/discussions with other guests before we noticed any difference. We spent the entire xmas new year period with the windows open and the ceiling fan on as was very uncomfortable indeed. It spoilt what was a really nice hotel and would have been fabulous otherwise.

leisure facilities; nice restaurant (only had breakfast) location perfect for what we wanted.

Complimentary tea tray could have been better e.g more milk, more biscuits & maybe hot chocolate as well as tea & coffee
