Good, helpful, friendly attitude of staff Someone had clearly been smoking in my room. The whole place stank of smoke and it wasn't possible to get rid of it.

Modern, clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Excellent, free wifi. Friendly staff. An easy, pleasant 10 minute walk into the town center. There was no light over the desk working area, but the staff did offer to find a lamp for me. I stayed in a single room, so don’t know if the bathroom layout is the same in the larger rooms. There is no fourth wall to the bathroom, so, while it is recessed, it is basically open to the room. This is fine if you are in the room alone, but it wouldn’t be nice sharing the room with someone you were not comfortable with.

I chose the hotel primarily for the location. Stated as being "5 minutes from Milton Keynes". Where this may technically be true, we were 7 miles from the centre. The price was high due to a major event on the day. A chance to raise prices? Followed by a 9am check out time the next day. Very poor value! Now I see why most other hotels were fully booked!

The staff were friendly The room for single occupancy had an open bathroom...which is guess is why they say single occupancy. There was a terrible earsplitting squealing sound that came from the pipes, at one point it squealed for about 10 minutes!! Horrible! Id stay there again but in a different room.

Good quality hairdryer and iron in room. Very quiet. The room was small and felt really cramped. Bit dated but cleanliness made up for this. No fridge in room.

We went to the Foo Fighters concert. Our room was tiny and very expensive. I don't believe hotels should be allowed to put their prices up, just because there is something going on in town, like a concert. The prices should remain the same throughout. We paid £120 for a tiny room. I've stayed in Travel Lodge's of higher standard.

Once you find the entrance to the car park, it is straightforward, convenient and efficient for a business traveller needing the basics of a comfortable unpretentious room and good breakfast. Excellent location for startung off eastwards in the morning as you are past all the potential congestion and away on relatively quiet roads. Splendid value if you get the cheapest offer. Too hot overnight - admittedly in a mild period in December, but I had to open the windows and then get outside noise. Not a serious problem.

Room Service food is excellent quality and presented beautifully and they have no expectation of a tip. Bathroom is looking tired, could do with a refresh of equipment.

Not much really.... The staff were pleasant and that's about it. On arrival the hotel looks like a block of flats you would see in a cold war spy movie (very depressing). No good signage for the entrance and very tight parking once you get in. The first room I was allocated was not to the standard on cleanliness I would expect from any hotel and there were even ants running round in the shower and across the headboard!! I requested a room change, on entering my new room I found it to be already occupied by a very surprised looking man, the third room they allocated was also occupied. By this time I was not very amused so they went to check the fourth room before I went up, fortunately it was free. I'm not sure how a hotel can run without knowing which rooms are filled, not very professional. They gave me free food and drink in the hotel for the night by way of apology which was a reasonable offering but the food was quite mediocre with many items obviously being pre-prepared frozen items. Service was quite slow and other peoples food around me was arriving cold. The poor food continued into breakfast with one of the worst I have ever had in a hotel.

Good location in centre of Newport Pagnell next to Aston Martin, nice breakfast, free car parking. Iron was superb, in fact so good I almost took it home. Bed was very hard, bathrooms are a bit dated but in fairness fully functional and water was hot!

Superb value for money, well lit, covered car park with ample cctv coverage, leaving you free to enjoy the facilities without worrying about your motorbike. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the gym & jacuzzi are a great way to unwind after a days work. The rooms are compact but fully functional and I had no issues with the en suite, other than the ridiculous taps on the shower which take 10mins to actually coax hot water out of, not because the hot water doesn't work, but because the taps are absurd. I ate a few meals there and the food was nice, although if its a bit too expensive, your within half mile walk of several pubs, a chippy and some shops. Nice comfy bed, best sleep I've had in years. Stupid taps on the shower! Also they prolifically replace the complimentary soap on a daily basis which I found wasteful.

Efficient, fast service; ate in hotel most nights. Food was good value and generally tasty. Stayed in hotel on and off over 3 weeks. Out of about 10 evening meals only one was poor. Second floor accommodation area was very hot in corridoors. One evening meal mentioned above.

I arrived early and was told that check in must be after 2pm. The reception staff was quite abrupt. The room I had had a leaky bathroom and had to be changed. The room was a poky sized room with enough space to swing a cat. The bed was backed by a wall that had plumbing pipes and so there was a constant noise of running water
