Our room was recently refurbished so was good. It was so close to life in Porthleven with plenty going on. The waterfront bar was lovely to sit with a drink and people watch

All staff very friendly and helpful, especially when we had no hot water on our first morning-we were kept updated with progress of boiler repair and the fault was rectified sooner than we expected. Fantastic breakfast selection & the Full English was one of the best we've eaten. Room was spotlessly clean (except carpet) & bright & cheery in decor style.
We used the restaurant on our first evening and were very disappointed with the food - a very limited choice for non fish eaters like ourselves and when it did arrive it was no more than a Harvester standard. Eat at a pub on the harbour after that which was world's better. This was disappointing with the breakfast, by comparison, being so good! Room carpet needed a really good shampoo as the main tread areas were very grubby.
Harbour view room with bay window. Friendly staff. Great food.
Location, staff, room cleanliness. Excellent local restaurants
Bed; sticky tables in eating area even after being wiped.
Everything, very relaxing. Friendly Staff Quality Accomodation Good Food & Drink Excellent Location

Leaving .... boo!
Right on the harbour so an excellent location. Food was very good at the hotel and well served
Alas we did not have a room with a view perhaps you have to ask for this when booking.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and good food
Breakfast finishing at 9am far too early when on holiday breakfast to 10am would of been ideal midweek and 10.30 at weekends
View from room
square toilet apparantly uncomfortable for men!
Friendly helpful staff, good traditional pub, really good food, clean rooms, very comfortable bed, excellent location, good centre to explore area, easy parking.
The welcome on arrival was very pleasant and we were quickly shown to our room. The morning breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice of serials and cooked food. The service was excellent polite and friendly. The evening meals on offer we're reasonably priced and whilst we did not eat-in every night the nights we did we enjoyed the food. Again the service was efficient and friendly in the main apart from one who seemed to find it difficult to smile whilst working.
The parking facilities were far from adequate. The surface was similar to a bomb site with no order to the parking. There no allocation of spaces for the residents. The residents entrance was very shabby and was not suitable for storing table umberellers. Also the departing residents luggage left in this entrance was dangerous. The noise when the downstairs disabled toilet was flushed was very loud in the bedroom and continued well into the evening.
Lovely position. Bedroom modern & attractive with good facilities.
Modern bedroom but rest pub decor dated. Breakfast fine but poor evening meal - pasta sauce nasty & from jar, 'garlic bread' made with standard white sliced bread. Given room 8 above bar AND ear plugs - bar chatter very audible, live covers band (9-11.15pm) indescribable.
Our room was recently refurbished so was good. It was so close to life in Porthleven with plenty going on. The waterfront bar was lovely to sit with a drink and people watch
We didn't find anything wrong
The staff here were great ...very friendly, helpful and they had catered for my gluten free needs...which I know is a hassle.the staff at the harbour inn are its best and biggest asset.the lady who checked us in and served us breakfast was excellent .
We had room 1 . The lady who checked us in kindly moved us further away from our original room as there was a disco that night and she felt it might be quieter, however it seems to be in the old part of the building and the plumbing was incredibly noisy especially the downstairs disabled wc that was below us.also continuous doors opening and shuting that definitely would have benefited from' wd40'!they even had ear plugs in the room.... Which on experience ,I feel ,never bodes well.....and sure enough ,it's as if the hotel etc knows there is noise problems.we stayed the previous night in the copper kettle which was fabulous, but couldn't book another night so hence ended up at the harbour inn disappointingly .would not risk staying at the inn again due to the level of noise.
location excellent large room very clean friendly staff
no fruit at breakfast grapefruit etc. bit pricey - but worth it no parking pay and display
The view from our window onto the harbour was lovely
We had booked a table for dinner and although it was set for us the table hadnt been wiped down and was quite dirty. ...
Harbour location food - excellent breakfast cleanliness
nothing
Friendly staff. Olde Worlde feel. Location.
Noise from air conditioner (although thankfully it was turned off over night).
The family room was ideal for us. Nicely situated by the Harbour Good pub food
Carpet wasn't vacuumed from the day before when we were at breakfast.
Loved the location of the harbour inn. Lots of hustle and bustle. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and although quite modern, was in keeping with its surroundings. Also liked the outside sitting area. Breakfast was lovely. Having live music was a bonus.
Liked everything.
