The bar is popular with local fishermen, and offers a selection of locally brewed ales including the award-winning St Austell. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu, which regularly features freshly caught fish. There is entertainment in the bar on Friday and Saturday evenings until 23:00 and a quiz night on Thursday evenings. Situated on the water’s edge, The Harbour Inn Hotel is just steps from Portleven Coastal Path. Helpful staff. Comfort. Cleanliness. Noise till about 12.30---bumping and banging. Limited dinner menu.

Nice size room, comfy bed, food really good.Staff very welcoming and helpful We where above what seemed to be the cellar and from 6.45am all you could feel was the thuding of what seemed like beer barrels being moved, people chatting also you could hear the radio on, They do give you ear plugs, but you can still feel the vibrations, felt like the bed being kicked, every couple of minutes

We liked the location and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The noise from the cake refrigerator in the lounge area was rather annoying so we moved to a table elsewhere.

Good toiletries in the bathroom. Warm - essential as the weather changed for the worst during our stay! Friendly staff especially the wonderful lady in charge of breakfasts on Monday. Despite the cleanliness and warmth of the room (16) it smelled musty and there was damp/mould on the wall above the wardrobe and mildew on the net curtains. The carpet felt a little grubby.

We wanted a one night stop-over B&B in order to visit friends. Being an 'inn' I expected the room to be small and basic but it was very spacious with a really well-stocked and comfortable en-suite with plenty of hot water and toiletries, towels etc. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and warm.The breakfast had an extensive menu choice and the food was cooked nicely and well presented. We cannot fault the experience of staying there and would certainly use the Harbour Inn again if in the area. Absolutely no concerns or complaints!

All the staff were superb, exceptionately friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was well appointed. We would certainly recommend the Harbour Inn to our friends and will definitely stay there again.

Accommodating and informative staff,excellent room overlooking harbour,location with most areas of Cornwall easily accessible,especially at this time of year(early December). A thoroughly enjoyable 5 days.

I know the Harbour Nnn very well as a restaurant and somewhere to go and have a drink. We like it very much so decided to have a night in Porthleven so we chose to stay at the Harbour Inn.

Last minute booking via internet for a member of staff in the area. The booking system was simple and easy to use. Our driver was over the moon with the room and thought the whole experience was fantastic. Well done to all of the staff for looking after one of ours.

Comfortable clean room with a picturesque view of the harbour. The bed was small but the most comfortable I have had in a B&B. Brilliant choice for breakfast menu and beautifully cooked and presented. Would definately stay again. Double bed was on the small side.

We had a delightful room. The inn is attractive to look at from the outside and the inside matches. The location is superb and there are parking facilities. The staff were very helpful and the food was of a good standard. We would use it aagain

Fantastic location. Very clean room. Stylish decore. All the amenities of a large hotel, plus some touches that big hotels dont give you: fluffy bath robes, free wifi, ear plugs. Really lovely room overlooking the picturesque fishing harbor at Porthleven. Would stay again.

The staff were very so helpful and friendly. They did everything possible, including changing our room, to make our stay a memorable one. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The location, right on the harbour edge, was brilliant. The food in the bar/restaurant was great. A superb little hotel, one to which we will return.

Immediately you walk in the front door, a relaxed, happy feeling encompasses you and for us, that never left us. Good food and good hospitality, what more could you ask for? The rooms are very comfortable and airy with good views of the harbour. As a man who is required to shave daily, thewater out of the hot tap was just marginally warmer than the cold. Having to keep boiling a kettle is tedious.
