The location with stunning views over Pool Harbour and Sandbanks. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely big comfy bed. We were a little disappointed that all of the indoor lounge area, except for one sofa, was closed off for a private function. There was nowhere else inside for us to sit and we didn't actually see anyone occupying the reserved space whilst we were there which was a bit annoying. However, we found a sheltered spot outside and enjoyed the magnificent views from there.

A good location, tasty breakfast and pleasant and courteous staff. Car parking is tight. Our room was very noisy - due to a nearby a/c unit and paper thin walls. We could hear the people in the room next door quite clearly.

My wife and I found it a good location to recapture a slice of our youth as we visited several places with strong memoriesf or us. It was handy for Bournemouth, Poole and the Isle of Purbeck by car or even by public transport and foot with a little bit of fortitude and planning. So town, country or seaside the Harbour Heights is a handy hotel. The staff were helpful and the views and local walks were excellent. The hotel staff gave the whole hotel a warm feel not at all impersonal. The summertime prices might stretch our budget but we we happy with the winter time rates and the weather was good.

Quality of service, quality of room - excellent bed, could not fault anything. Thought £8.00 a bit steep for a glass house wine.

The view from the room was nice but a balcony would have topped it off. It was nice having double doors in the room, to open and have fresh air.

Room was clean, comfortable, and as I would expect for over £100 per night. Found the menu rather limited. No Specials. rather expensive for average food.

Very clean Nice food Everything that can be charged for, is charged for very dearly: 1.) £7.50 an hour for wifi 2.) £2.65 for a pot of tea containing a single tea bag at dinner 3.) Breakfast charged for two people even if only one staying. (There are no 'single' rooms) 4.) No tea making facilities in rooms. (Presumably they wish you to pay for room service every time you fancy a cup.)

We have stayed at the Harbour Heights before and it is still a lovely place for a break with welcoming and helpful staff. We were offered an upgrade so we had a view over to Brownsea Island and beyond and this is one of the special features of this lovely hotel. The lounge and bar areas are very comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food.

Very pleased with the stay, the bathroom could have had more room but all the items reuired were provided . very good breakfast ,we ate at the sister hotel the sandbanks but would have been happy to have dined at hh Not sure when the hotel is almost empty that you put all the guests together, the people opposite us were very noisy, not your fault but a suggestion that guests could be at least two rooms apart when so quiet........kind regards

Lovley views over the harbour and sea, pleasant room, contemporary, nicely decorated. Food was good, breakfast super, staff friendly, etc. The room was rather too warm and we didn't know how to control the temperature. The radiator in bathroom was very hot - rather dangerous to touch and there was no switch to turn it off.. There was no hotel guide book in our room to give instructions. We only stayed one night though. This needs to be looked into.

Good location, close to the seafront, good views from the restaurant. Overall, even considering that its off -season, the price was more than the value we got. The hotel has wifi only in the reception / restaurant area and no signal what so ever in the rooms. The bar/restaurant is heavily overprices - we paid £6.5 for two espressos!!!! Also the aircon in the room was rather noisy. Also - if you like a firm matress this is not the place for you!

Our room was very comfortable, and the reception staff were excellent, as was the location. We were surprised not to be nuts/olivies when we had our pre-dinner drink at the cocktail bar. On the second morning of our stay, I was surprised to be told that I couldn't have tomato juice as it would have to come from the bar! I told the waiter that I had had it the previous morning - and eventually a tomato juice arrived. We thoroughy enjoyed our stay at Harbour Heights, but I would just like to make a suggestion. My husband and I stayed at your sister hotel, The Haven, earlier in the year, where I thoroughly enjoyed Eggs Benedict a couple of times for breakfast. I asked if it would be possible to have this dish, the waitress asked the Chef - sadly they wouldn't do this for me. As they would certainly had all the necessary ingredients in the kitchen, I think it would have been a nice gesture to poach me an egg on a slice of smoked salmon (hollandaise sauce would obviously have been available as it is served daily with fresh fish). A pity.

Room had bad noise problem coming from roof - probably ventilation shaft rattling in the wind Reception 'apology' the next morning was pretty 'plastic' and no discount offered for bad nights sleep Excellent breakfast but ridiculous system whereby you have to stand next to some toasting machine waiting for toast whilst your breakfast gets cold

Location and service A couple of minor niggles - someone (another guest probably) removed my newspaper but the staff got me another - so good service there No cranberry juice available with breakfast - you would expect this from a hotel of this class No hotel manual in the room to describe the facilities or the quirky tv
