FJB Collection - Harbour Heights  

A very comfortable and pleasant hotel. Level of service was excellent from the moment we checked in. Large beautifully appointed room with excellent bathroom. Great location with superb views over Poole harbour and beyond. The terrace on a sunny afternoon or evening is perfect for tea or drinks. Food excellent. Breakfast is especially good. So nice to have breakfast cooked to order rather than being on a buffet.

Modern and clean

You get most things right. It's a good hotel. The view form the room is superb. Air conditioning that works is a plus too. The restaurant is excellent and the staff professional. The car parking is adequate, well laid out and easily accessed.

There are only minor points to make. Although the room was a double it is very cramped for two people. There was no hangling space in the wardrobe because it contained a chest of draws (unnecessary) which meant not even a blouse could hang, without draping the top of the chest. (creases can't drop out). A small table would be good. as there is no where to put a drink if you are sitting. Tea and coffee provision is frugal. I know you can ask for more but it's a pain. Having the Kettle tray fixed so that it boils inside the cupboard is something we've not come across before. The bed could be firmer - it was almost hammock like.

Size of hotel not to big.room was lovely view comfy sofa great big bed.we had a very happy stay and will go again.

A touch of luxury at an affordable price

On arrival the staff were immediately friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent, comfortable and very clean. The bistro was a very relaxing evening spent and all staff we came in contact with we're superb. The food we had was lovely and of a very high standard. We will definitely be staying here again.

Everything that can be charged for, is charged for very dearly: 1.) £7.50 an hour for wifi 2.) £2.65 for a pot of tea containing a single tea bag at dinner 3.) Breakfast charged for two people even if only one staying. (There are no 'single' rooms) 4.) No tea making facilities in rooms. (Presumably they wish you to pay for room service every time you fancy a cup.)
