The view from the breakfast room The quality of the food at breakfast - cheap.the fact that the plumbing leaves a lot to be desired it the pipes still flake off inside when the bath is run. Others at breakfast were also speaking about it. I do not mind spending £100 but would never speand more than that for a night at the hotewl even in the peak of summer. You are living off the view. |

The room was well fitted out and the bathroom was particularly enjoyable. Bed good size. Great views from the restaurant and lounge. Room a bit noisy, bit like being on a cruise ship with the background hum of generators etc. |

The room was lovely. Staff were very friendly We had to wait a very long time for our cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning. The outside of the hotel is not very becoming; luckily it makes up for itself inside. |

The view from the Harbour view room was amazing, te view over Poole Harbour, sandbanks and Studland was truly fantastic, the terrace area for eating and evening drinks, the area, a short walk to the beach and a 15 min walk to sandbanks. Felt like we were in another country. Everything was excellent, apart from the odd occasion when there was sometimes a a long wait for drinks service on the terrace. |

The views from the dining room and terrace. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. Dinner was excellent apart from a disappointing dessert (see below), and the hot breakfast was cooked to order which is much nicer than those buffet breakfast with everything being kept warm on hot plates. The rooms at the back have absolutely no view at all; the bath was a spa bath but a bit on the small side; I hadn't brought shampoo and there was only showergel and soap in the bathroom; the "exotic" fruit salad I had for dessert consisted mainly of apple; and the coffee was on the weak side. |

Used for our son's wedding reception - really very well done with flexible and obliging staff. Lovely bedroom and public areas. Excellent restaurant. Rather narrow upper floor corridors. Surprised not to have bathrobes given room charge. |

Its position. Room service food was quite good though someone must learn that sandwiches should be cut into four rather than two. The hotel badly needs some evidence of top management. The receptionist was about as uninspiring as you could get; no warmth, no pizzazz in the greeting. No interest at all was taken in whether we were going to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant. We never saw a senior manager in evidence from beginning to end of the stay. |

Very comfortable room with fantastic views. Excellent breakfast choices and very high quality food. Nice selection of good restaurants a ten minute walk up the road - important as we couldn't get a table for dinner (the hotel's restaurant is very popular, particularly at weekends) Would need to book a table for dinner a week in advance at weekends. |

The room, the bar and the terrace were very pleasant. The lemon sole I ordered was cooked with the roe and oviducts intact, which I have never seen before. The result was that the blood had permeated into the fish and I was unable to eat the fish. |

This is an excellent hotel - lovely position , very clean and comfortable inside with a great restaurant / breakfast area with views over the harbour. More expensive than average but considering how much nicer it is than the majority of £ 60 - 80 per night hotels worth the extra. |
