Close to Irvine’s sandy beach, the train station and the shops, this family-run bed and breakfast is just 10 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport and offers a free shuttle service. When staying a minimum of 2 nights, the Harbourside Hotel - B&B offers a free courtesy bus service from and to the airport, between 8am and midnight, 7 days week. The bed and breakfast has a great location, just a matter of yards from Irvine Train Station, the Rivergate shopping mall and the town’s shops, bars and restaurants. Irvine’s picturesque sandy beach is just a short walk away. The Harbourside specializes in golf and whiskey tours of the area and is located next to Glasgow Gailes golf course. All of the rooms have private bathrooms, TVs, videos, fridges, microwaves and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in most of the rooms. Breakfast is included in the price. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the location was excellent for a one night stay - near railway station and shopping plazza. A hearty breakfast set us up for a busy day at a conference. A little in need of some re-furbishment with a slightly musty odour.

The owner Andy, was very helpfull & accomodating in every way. The mini bus was a godsend, i would recomend the harbourside to any one traveling to irvine

Although the hotel is a modest one, we immediately felt very welcome and at home. Andy and Carmen were very friendly and we are already missing Carmen's very good English Breakfast. We also miss her warm smile which greated us every morning. Thanks Andy and Carmen we really enjoyed our stay.

The location Its a bit grim and needs modernising asap. There was no one there to greet you, you had to call a number to get a code for the security coded door to let you in. There was no signs to say the breakfast room was on the 1st floor so we had to go to the Asda which was 2 minutes walk, but was refunded when I complained. The staff where nice when you did see them.

Del hotel destacaria su situacion si lo que buscas es un alojamiento cerca del aeropuerto . tambien decir que sabiamos que era sencillo pero con categoria de hotel . Se podria definir que nos encontramos con un hotel que esta una escala por encima del albergue . El personal excelente I el desayuno muy completo teniendo en cuenta calida-precio Lo unico es que no tengan ascensor,ya que nos toco en el ultimo piso y claro ibamos con maletas y bolsas y lo echamos en falta

Nous avons été reçu très chaleureusement, le responsable avait anticipe notre arrivée tardive et nous avait communique le code d'entrée par mail avant notre départ. Une des douches sur les 3 chambres réservées ne fonctionnait pas, mais a été changée des le lendemain (bien que ce soit un dimanche). Le petit déjeuner est un vrai "écossais" avec le meilleur Bacon de tout notre séjour! Les conseils touristiques étaient excellents également. Rien a dire sur la propreté. Les chambres sont un peu petites.

L'acceuil est exceptionnel. Magré nous sommes arrivé très tard à l'aéroport, le menager, Mr Andy nous a cherché à la sortie de l'aéroport. Les personnels sont très sympha. L'hotel est tout près de la plage magnifique, non touristique! Ma fille a bien aimé de petit déjeuner écosais. (Welcome is exceptional, especially we'd very appreciated the pick up service. When we arrived in late evening from France, we found the hotel menager at raaival! What woderful welcome. Near Hotel, there are a huge clean beach. It's wonderful place to pass nice vacation with family. Our daughter aged 10 liked very much the breakfest and nice environnement of Irvine Beach!)

ik vond de vloerbedekking opmerkelijk 'schotse ruit''.het is wel een oud gebouw,scheve vloeren enz..5 min lopen en je bent bij de winkels en 10 min lopen en je bent op het strand ,dat was wel erg prettig! wij sliepen op de eerste verdieping waar ook de keuken en de eetkamer is.'s ochtends vanaf 7 uur komt de geur van de spek.worstjes enz. je tegemoed.niet zo aangenaam!het hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg en er wordt veel op straat geschreeuw! Moesten met het raam dicht slapen vanwege het lawaai

Le personnel est sympa, accueillant. Hotel proche (10min) de Ardrossan si vous voulez prendre le ferry pour Arran. Petit déjeuner excellent et chaleureux. à noter au bout de la rue à 1min en voiture sur Harbour street un restaurant appelé le Ship In. La réputation est à la hauteur pour ce pub restaurant. Excellent dîner, rapport qualité prix ok. Un peu bruyant entre chambres, situe sur le port emplacement pas très,romantique à l extérieur de Irvine mais ok pour une nuit de passage. Un petit peu cher à mon goût pour la prestation mais,pas trop le choix sur cette zone : peu,d hôtels, et chers en général Celui,ci est un des moins chers.
