Harbourside Hotel - B&B  

For the price, we found excellent value for money. All you could eat breakfast and if interested in the local traditions, lots of conversation with the owner. Room basic, but very comfortable and with lots of essentials eg hairdryer. Owner very welcoming. Would book again without hesitation.

The owner Andy, was very helpfull & accomodating in every way. The mini bus was a godsend, i would recomend the harbourside to any one traveling to irvine

Close to the railway station and shoppingmall. Also nice warm room and comfortable double bed. Friendly staff.

The location

Its a bit grim and needs modernising asap. There was no one there to greet you, you had to call a number to get a code for the security coded door to let you in. There was no signs to say the breakfast room was on the 1st floor so we had to go to the Asda which was 2 minutes walk, but was refunded when I complained. The staff where nice when you did see them.

Stains on sheets,pillow cases and duvet covers.Cracked basin in toilet and hair on the tiles in the shower.

Lhôtel est vétuste et mal chauffé en hiver

Le personnel est sympa, accueillant. Hotel proche (10min) de Ardrossan si vous voulez prendre le ferry pour Arran. Petit déjeuner excellent et chaleureux. à noter au bout de la rue à 1min en voiture sur Harbour street un restaurant appelé le Ship In. La réputation est à la hauteur pour ce pub restaurant. Excellent dîner, rapport qualité prix ok.

Un peu bruyant entre chambres, situe sur le port emplacement pas très,romantique à l extérieur de Irvine mais ok pour une nuit de passage. Un petit peu cher à mon goût pour la prestation mais,pas trop le choix sur cette zone : peu,d hôtels, et chers en général Celui,ci est un des moins chers.

L'accueil est super! Très chaleureux! Et bonne situation géographique pour visiter l'ile d'Arran car le port d'Ardrossan est à 15 min.

L'acceuil est exceptionnel. Magré nous sommes arrivé très tard à l'aéroport, le menager, Mr Andy nous a cherché à la sortie de l'aéroport. Les personnels sont très sympha. L'hotel est tout près de la plage magnifique, non touristique! Ma fille a bien aimé de petit déjeuner écosais. (Welcome is exceptional, especially we'd very appreciated the pick up service. When we arrived in late evening from France, we found the hotel menager at raaival! What woderful welcome. Near Hotel, there are a huge clean beach. It's wonderful place to pass nice vacation with family. Our daughter aged 10 liked very much the breakfest and nice environnement of Irvine Beach!)
