We were lucky to be allocated a quite room but some of the other guests were allocated rooms above the Cavern and they were not happy :(
Absolutely everything. It made our honeymoon perfect. Can't wait to return. Awesome.
Nothing NOT to like.
Very welcoming friendly, helpful staff Great decor Brilliant location Rooms clean, comfy and modern would recommend and would stay again
The location of this hotel is excellent, with the 'Cavern Quarter' being just around the corner. We received a lovely, warm welcome from the moment the door was opened for us. We're not used to staying in hotels but were soon put at ease by the friendly, helpful reception staff. Our room was stylishly decorated, very clean, and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Towels and bed linen were of excellent quality. There was a wide choice of good quality food at breakfast, and we also found the restaurant staff to be very friendly and helpful. Booking out was straightforward and quick, even though the reception area was fairly busy. This hotel is a beautiful place to stay in, but the staff are the real stars of the show!
I was a bit disappointed that there were no slippers in our room, but my son let me have his pair from the next room! I had also expected that there would be bathrobes in the Deluxe rooms. I was woken before 7.00 am by sound of the recycling bins being emptied, but it didn't bother the others.
Central location great for shopping , eating out, nightlife and access for buses to take you different areas loved it we will be back
Loved the Beatles memorabilia and plays on words. Location couldn't be better for Cavern Club, dock, etc. staff was so friendly and helpful!
Breakfast not included in room price.
Friendly helpful staff who sorted out tv for us and made us feel welcome As Beatles fans we loved all the memorabilia and photographs Would have liked to stay longer and will definetely visit again
Very atmospheric being so close to The Cavern but equally very noisy! Maybe the rooms overlooking Mathew st could have better double glazing? Also as we had paid £95 for the room already I felt that £15.95 per person for breakfast was too expensive No bath towels in bathroom was odd too?
everything its a lovely hotel in a great location with fantastic staff . food was excellent cant wait to go back
everything with one exception.
there was nowhere to park outside the hotel to unload and load our luggage and this was a real problem.
Everything was up to the highest standard: the staff, location, the interior of the hotel itself
The shower was fixed, I prefer a movable one.
The location could not be better! Very clean, staff brilliant
Think it is quite pricey which wouldn't be so bad if they included breakfast!
The Beatles memorabilia Very good photos nice atmosphere
Bar man at tea time was not people friendly when asked to play Beatles music and I said he must be sick of it he replied I don't sing English music not a smile not a good front if hose
Room, decor, location, food
LOCATION LOCATION MATTHEW ST NEXT DOOR, LOTS OF GOOD BARS AND RESTAURANTS LOCALLY. LIVERPOOL 1 NOT FAR TO WALK AND OF COURSE THE GRADE 1 LISTED ALBERT DOCK COMPLEX ALSO THE FANTASTIC MUSEUM OF LIVERPOOL WITH LOTS OF INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS FOR THE CHILDREN (of all ages)
TRAINS RUNNING UNDER THE HOTEL VIBRATING THE BUILDING (not the fault of the hotel) SHAVING MIRROR TOO DISTANT. LIGHTING TO THE BATHROOM MIRROR INADIQUATE TO BE ABLE TO SHAVE EASILY. NO LIGHT IN THE WARDROBE SO DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROOM SAFE.DIFFICULT TO SEE THE LIGHTING CONTROLS IN THE DARK
Perfect location close to restaurants shopping beatles cavern pub
We found the staff were very helpful nothing was to much trouble evening entertainment was good we all joined in and it was a laugh great location close for bars and shopping we had a suit and it was worth a little extra
I still can't find a problem with my stay
This is a lovely hotel especially for Beatles fans, it's a 2 min walk from the Cavern Club and right in the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay again when next in Liverpool
It would be really nice if they had a pool and spa facilities.
Great localization, close to pubs and to museum area Amazing decor and very spacious room The concierge is really friendly and helpful
Obviously if you're a Beatles fan this is the place to stay! Other than that....it's not really worth what you pay. The rooms are nice and modern and have great theme pictures but we could not only hear the shower in the next room but the conversation they were having in the shower!! I felt we could have got 2 nights at the marriott for the cost of one night here but I'm not the Beatles fan!
The fact we could hear everything in the next rooms bathroom The price
perfect location, nice interior
The seize of the bed is rather small for two adults and you hear the noise of the trains passing underneath / by. The staff in the bar in not really interested and it takes (too) long before you can order a drink.
Lovely and clean, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff
Couldn't figure out how to turn lights off in room just to bedside light
The central location of hotel
first room was too near the Cavern and too noisy
I We liked the location close to all the places of interest, and local buses. We were very pleased with all the excellent staff ,food was of a high quality, and the dining room was a pleasant place to eat. The lounge area was quiet and drinks and bar snacks were available all night. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, many thanks to all.
We stayed during a recent visit to Liverpool - there was an exceptional deal on offer. Everything was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also had an upgrade, the room was huge and we loved the decor and the Beatles memorabilia. Found all the staff to be very friendly and couldnt be more helpful assisting us with our ferry booking and booked early taxi for departure.
