Very clean comfortable rooms
Would love a TV in the room
Booked a single room and was immediately upgraded on arrival to a double room that had (I believe) been recently updated. Jill the manageress was very friendly and showed me to my room. Excellent customer care.
No tv but I knew this before I travelled so brought my laptop and had no issues on the wifi.
Nice location, clean comfortable hotel, really friendly staff.
No TV, no telephones in rooms! Come on Harewood!
Great location for Harewood House Free WIFI, reliable connection & speed in room
No TV (But used my tablet via WIFI). Room was very hot to sleep. Turned heating off and opened window but was quite noisy from the main road. Slow service at breakfast (and no Weetabix!)
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was quaint and it looks like it's recently had a makeover, although some parts were still a little dated. But the staff's eagerness to help outweighed any other issues we had with our stay. Even the locals were friendly!
The kettle was a little dirty but were given a replacement once the issue was brought up. The bar meals and breakfast can be a little bit of a wait but other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay
All was just super
The hotel was really nice and the staff were very friendly. The bedrooms were lovely and bed very comfy
The room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and the staff/ owners were wonderful .
beauttiful location, very easy access to Leeds - lovely walks at Harewood right next to property. Great cooked breakfast. Spacious room with comfy bed.
Bathrooms tired but understand they are rennovating rooms. No one on front desk when we arrived - took a while to get sorted.
Nothing was too much trouble. Ev and Jill were extremely friendly and the Saturday evening meal was excellent and well cooked. We would certainly come back.
Sadly, they were let down on Sunday morning by the non appearance of the chef.
Lovely small hotel, great value for money both as a hotel and somewhere to eat and drink, great wifi so managed to watch TV on iPad, well worth a stay
No TVs in rooms
The room and breakfast were excellent.
Could have done with a TV in the room.
Bed was fantastic
No tv in bedroom bathroom a bit of a squeeze
Really wanted a television
Not having a Rb in the room
Breakfast and dinner
Not tv or radio, poor internet access.
The Harewood Arms is a lovely cosy hotel, and is well decorated and the room a pleasant surprise. I only chose a small room as it was all I needed, but it was bigger than I was expecting. It was very cosy. The beer in the bar is great and the food (steak and kidney pudding) was lovely.
I still find it weird that the rooms don't have televisions. It personally didn't bother me, but I can image it would bother some. The evening was great, until closing time. The bar was busy due to the reunion event i was attending but by 11:15 they were pushing people out. A short blonde girl in a hoody appeared and started barging around and a chap appeared behind the bar who started to F an B at people to get out. I found out later that he didn't even work there so why he was allowed behind the bar I don't know. I paid to stay here and i do not expect to be sworn at. Then to get people to go they turned out all the lights. This is completely unacceptable. People had to use torches to find the doors. The way this hotel treats its customers is quite frankly disgusting. The next day, a Sunday morning, the local tea shop was full by half past ten with people having tea and cakes. The centuries old coaching inn, the Harewood Arms, with ample parking, lovely interior of old paintings, pretty lights and leather furniture was still empty at 12:30pm apart from my small party of three. Locals and visitors alike would rather squeeze into the small village hall. It is quite something for the Harewood Arms to repel customers quite so much.
Great staff, comfortable rooms. The,whole hotel has period features in abundance. We would return again.
No tv or radio in room.Wi find unable to access. No signal for mobile. Felt cut off from reality.
location for Harewood House good De luxe bedroom was good even though no TV
Public areas not clean especially stairs No clean glasses at breakfast breakfast service poor one member of staff doing everything. Mostly help yourself.
Location to Harewood House Value History Heating Pub Restaurant Food
Cold Room on entry (window open)
Food good and bar prices
The pub was traditional and very reasonably priced. The food was reaaly good and again very reasonable. The room had everything we needed and was immaculate. the absence of a TV actually made the stay more enjoyable as people actually talked and even played some pub games.
having to rush off the next day due to our schedule.
Location, free wifi, free car parking
Arrived at 11.10pm with bar last orders at 11.00pm but not prepared to give a resident a drink, but took breakfast order. They lost this order and had to wait 30 minutes for cooked breakfast. No provision for gluten free, no appropriate cereal, no fruit at all. if i was full coeliac i would have starved. Also no TV in hotel
Hotel was too hot for me.
The staff, the room, the breakfast ( I almost took a picture of it!)
Getting there too late for dinner, the menu looked great.
The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable, except no TV
The policy is not to have any TVs in rooms or in the bar. This seems a bit strange. You are invited to use WiFi instead. I think a TV in a room should be a pre-requisite.
