When we arrived on a cold wet night the owner offered to carry our case to our room, something I have noticed that a lot of the other places I have stopped at in the past year never offered to do.He also had our reservation to hand and nothing was too much trouble.
bar not open evenings no proper wardrobes or chest of drawers toilet was hard to flush no hot water to have a shave with decor dated most expensive for what you got cups without saucers in bedroom ketcup bottles - not been cleaned - murky tops toast not served on toast racks
Pleasant staff nice clean rooms and service at the bar wenever Ya needed it just press the bell
Random people knocking on door in Middle of the night but not hotels fault it had tits staying in it
Although the bedroom was very small it was nice and clean. The staff where nice and polite. No problem parking?
The fact we had to buy two weekend tram tickets to go backwards and forwards into Blackpool central. The first night we walked from the hotel to the north pier, it took us 1hr 15 mins. I was expecting the hotel to be a bit more extravagant and lively. Breakfast was very poor (cheap fatty bacon and herb sausages) for price paid to stay there long weekend. The Bar closed 10:50pm.
Size of room, very cramped. What was seen of the remainder of hotel, seemed on cursory view to need quite a bit of up-grading. This, of course, was reflected in price.
Room lovley and comfortable clean always fresh towel breakfast top quilt waitress fantastic efficient and very obliging 10 out of 10
Position on the seafront, the size and standard of room and bathroom. We booked late on a bank holiday weekend and the price was still reasonable. Short walk to Bispham village, and handy for trams to Blackpool.
Good location easy to find free parking Clean good price will visit again
Pleasant stay away from the hustle of the town centre.
Shower cubicle was a bit small and screen shaky.
They were very helpful and it was very clean
The staff were lovely and the food was excellent
Everything about the manager was as you would expect from a 5* hotel
Leaving for home,
The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. It is located out of twon but still along the front so lovely view but much quieter. Tram stop virtually opposite so getting in and out of the fun is easy. Electric shower means the hot water never runs out.
The rooms are a bit random - every surface is the fake tile panelling you get in caravans! All a bit odd, but can't really knock it as it was so clean! Thought it was a little over-priced given the quality and finish on the rooms.
Friendly staff, get exactly what you expect for the price.
Paper thin walls, mattress so soft it was like a water bed!
Very friendly and value for money
The room was clean and comfy, basic but fulfilled all needs
Little far from the centre of town hence price but bus and tram stop right outside.
staff and breaskfast
Lift would be impossible to get out of if on top floor if in wheelchair. No table in r oom and only 1 seat.
Had a beautiful sea view x room was lovely what a view in the morning , photos on computer do not do the room justice was perfect .
one curtain to cover whole of window
just a few minutes from the town centre but out of the way enough to be able to step down to a deserted beach...really comfy beds and amazing views
Great Breakfast Good location Lovely large room with great sea view
Mattress springs gone so uncomfortable. Needs a good clean/updating
Value for money Clean Nice Room Excellent Location
Value for money was excellant staff were very helpful and access to tram and busses was excellant
Room was a bit small and bed was bit hard but thats just my preference brekfast was also slightly overcooked
The hotel was situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. We arrived earlier than check in time and when asked if we could check into our rooms, although early, every move was made to allow early access.
Although the rooms were very clean and tidy, there were signs of wear and tear in other areas.
Was a quiet end of Blackpool not to far from the centre etc, perfect for the price we paid would stay again
Parking, cheap bar, guy who ran it had a sense of humour, easy going and great for those travelling on a budget. On hearing we we are getting married in a few weeks we were upgraded to a sea view room with a four poster bed! Would recommend :)
