staff rooms pool sauna
No lift Rooms can be a long walk from reception Hot buffet at breakfast Cost of room service Bathroom with mould
The leisure facility
The shower pressure in the bath room was so low, the water was literarily dripping. The hotel was noisy because of party goers. The carpet in the stairs going to the rooms was really old. The floor of the steam room was dirty. We could not connect to the Wi-Fi. For a 4 star hotel, it is not good enough.
Bathroom fan wouldn't turn off and kept me up at night
Internet connection was ok...
The night staff was clueless and ignored me for about two minutes while finishing with the vacuum cleaner... She then needed help to assign a room to me... The walk up to the room in 1st storey was... disgusting... The room itself also looked a bit old and tired... Breakfast was bad, too, again, I was ignored for about two minutes before someone bothered to show me to a table...
great staff good location
shower curtain not clean room door was difficult to lock
Dirty plates and glasses outside rooms upon check in was the only thing letting the hotel down
Very friendly staff, food was excellent and a pleasure to eat. Very clean rooms.
Pillows were to soft and gave me and my partner neck ache, unfortunately there was no harder pillows to swap with.
Generally ok and what one would expect but - see teh negatives!!!
Swimming pool was over crowded with club members at 7:00 so no room for hotel guests. One of the reasons for selecting the hotel and it had only a short pool and over full with pensioners!!
The bedroom facilities. The welcoming receptionist
The lack of attention in the dining room at breakfast. The appalling wifi arrangement The completely inhospitable bar
Facilities were great for the price!
Usually its out of our price range , would stay here every time if a fraction cheaper
beds uncomfortable The carpet on the stairs was filthy and horribly stained and I regretted booking at this hotel. and unfortunately these two things let down
Didnt like.... Always having to wait at reception - up to 20 minutes - often only one member if staff on who sometimes disappeared without trace. Bank holiday Monday the gym opened at 8pm. Reception staff and room literature said 7.30 pm. Annoying to set alarm then spend 30 mins outside not knowing if it would open at all. Restaurant doesn't open Sunday nights- not much alternative nearby. Did like staff who tried hard to please including a reduction for the gym opening late.
We got a twin room .. Rec spoke so quickly that we missed half of what she said .. Room was ok but would booked a bobble room so u think we would of got a bobble room . As we were only staying for 1 nite we put up with it
It had a fieindly & comfortable feel to the place. Staff very kind & helpful, booking us a cab as soon as we got there as we had half hour to get to a wedding. They even looked after our bags until we came back in the evening as we was a bit too early to book in on arrival.
The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful!
Small things, considering the price I paid for one night (given it was a Saturday) we had a room on the end that was noisey from passing traffic and miles from reception! There was no shampoo, condition, toothbrush (which is what I would expect from a radisson) all was "hair and body wash" which was clearly just cheap soap. I just felt it was a waste of money when I could have stayed somewhere cheaper that was closer to where I needed to be! My girlfriend is vegetarian and on the menu was very limited for her. So we ended up going else where to eat.
We had a 2 night stay in the peak of summer aircon was wonderful and not expected for the bargain price we paid. Easy to get in and out of London and local restaurants were good too
No real downside
Location suited our requirements. Swimming pool was a bonus.
Room decor was tired. Room was not particularly clean, my pillow case had marks on it as it the towels. Only one bed pillow each.
The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Very light and modern bathroom.
The carpet on the stairs was filthy and horribly stained and I regretted booking at this hotel. The curtains in our room were hanging down and unfortunately these two things let down what was otherwise a very clean and comfortable room. Carpets on the stairs need replacing now. It gave totally the wrong impression when Radisson is in the name.
The hotel was brilliant, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and the room was great. It was very clean and the air conditioning in the room made our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the swimming pool facilities. A great hotel at a great price!
Near to the venue
Room size was fab Had full access to swimming pool and gym
Swimming pool was shallow Internet and food was pricey
staff very helpful and friendly . Spa facilities very good,Water temps spot on. Very children friendly.
dirty walls, bathroom shabby and very noisy
Reception Staff were first class.
Breakfast staff-half worked their socks off the rest just wandered around. Older lady 'there are some tables over there made up I think!!' then walked away. There wasn't any tables ready. Food not replenished promptly. Staff looked after themselves before the guests.
