I just needed a hotel to put my head down for the night and this ticks the boxes.
Booked the hotel to use the pool but no lockers were available. Tried 3 times to use the facilities and there was never anywhere to leave my clothes. A gym member told me members use the lockers and take the keys home!!
Good location, friendly staff
Carpet in the room was very grubby but as staying one night could get over it. Everything else was fine.
Easy to find, room layout fine and fairly spacious.Friendly staff and efficient.Car parking good.Breakfast choice adequate.
Heard traffic at night.Didnt find breakfast appetizing as food lay uncovered.Poor pressure with the shower in the morning.Beds quite hard.
Staff helpful Parking good
dreadful disgusting carpet in both rooms No noise control of children in pool and Jacuzzi! food uninspiring and unpleasant noise level outside room appalling
Tired and scruffy hotel - badly stained carpets in guest rooms
Location was well suited for Harlow and easy access to the motorway and surrounding areas. Surprisingly quiet considering the location, plenty of parking, although the rear part is a bit dark for my liking, hence the car stayed where it was lit! Staff were very friendly and polite and were willing to help with any problems. Rooms are basic, a little tired, but clean, you get what you pay for at the end of the day and as we paid for this on deal price I cannot complain, although in saying that I would not pay full price, the room was a decent size, once you get to grips with the heating it was warm and cozy, large bath towels, hand towels etc and even flannels! Nice selection of tea and coffee.
As usual prices for the Bar menu were rather steep for what was on offer and considering the quality of the food was ok certainly not outstanding, £14 for a burger which was basic at best and just under £4 for the 3 smallest bits of bread made into garlic cheese bread! it was also a shame as the restaurant was closed due to it being Christmas eve, it looked to have a nicer menu..... Again the rear parking at the hotel needs more lighting, when you arrive you are met with a missing barrier that looks as though it was rammed off! Then the dark bits along the side look very foreboding, it was not surprising all occupying residents were staying in the lit areas with cars! I think the fact also it is very close to a local estate that looks a little rundown added to the foreboding, which may well not have been warranted as I am not aware if there are issues relating to this location.
Staff very friendly and helpful understanding.
Wi fi unable to connect to social net work or games without going through goggle . Cold breakfast on 28dec
room rate was good
no staff! receptionist bought us our meal then had to go and ask reception for some sauce when we were eating our meal in the bar as restaurant closed and bar person disappeared and again had to ask reception about ordering dessert and prices shocking - glass of wine £6
Location and room cleanliness
Very disappointed with the lack of facilities that were open. Reception communication very poor. Not what I expect from Raddison brand.
The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean and fresh. Every thing we needed for our overnight stay was there.
The receptionist spoke with a strong foreign accent which I couldn't understand, and the plastic key would not work in the door which meant walking a very long way back to the reception desk. Apart from those two things every thing was good.
Location, room was warm, ease at check-in and friendly staff
I think my account has been debited twice for the room, not sure why (yet)
I booked this hotel specifically because it had a swimming pool, but it was little more than a large bath! Suitable only for toddlers and babies, quite misrepresented I thought, and the changing room was freezing! The bathroom was very tired, in need of an update.
Staff very friendly & professional The front lobby looked welcoming Very quiet in the room (couldnt hear outside & hardly anyone in the hotel) Good amount of parking
The carpet to the upstairs rooms on the hallway / corridor looked abit dirty & stained. The bedroom smelt of sick - there was a patch by the side of the bed which looked like someone had tried to clean it up. But I think it would have been better to wait for the smell to go before letting out the room. Both of these are down to the people not respecting the hotel.
Cold room, cold hotel area Poor seating in bar area as a group had reserved the seating so there was no comfortable seating for anyone else
Gym Free wifi Quiet for nightshift workers/daytime sleepers
Cleanliness Limited room service menu
Room service was fab Gym was great
The place was disgustingly dirty and no lift to second floor meant we had to carry heavy suitcases up stairs. The hall way carpets were filthy not to mention a guest vomited in the hallway and were extremely noisey
The rooms were clean and comfortable and they eventually fixed the leaking shower head when advised (twice).
The door in th corridor was always open (apparently for the smokers) and sometimes trays of food were left in the corridors).
Shabby communal areas, in great need of a refurb.
No room wifi even after complaining on the first night. Resturant only opened at 19:00 and very expensive.
internet worked well
could smell cigarette smoke in room. not the cleanest of places overall. food was rubbish and so overpriced.
Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and quite room. Easy access for road networks.
Stained and worn carpeting in corridor areas. Room and other areas had uncared feel and in need of maintenance and repair. No Bath/shower soap on first night. Bath panel cracked. Some surfaces not cleaned and stained.
food and the modern room
resteraunt, reception and general corridors are a bit gloomy
The room and leisure facilities were good.
Welcome was a bit stereotyped like reading from a crib sheet ie ask the required questions and that was it.
Staff were very welcoming
No balconys included with any rooms
